I think it's time we had one of these threads. For those of us who are past our due date, let's commiserate in here while we wait for our very comfy babies to make their arrival!

I woke up this morning and my carpal tunnel was outrageous! I can barely flex my fingers! Never experienced this last time but the pain is starting to get to me. I wish I had my induction scheduled so I'd at least have an end date to look forward to.
I'm at 41+2, being induced tomorrow night. I had my first class for the semester last night (I'm only allowed to take 2 weeks of class off so I thought I wouldn't be there last night but went so I could use those 2 weeks after baby is here). The amount of unsolicited advice was outrageous. Thankfully one of my professors finally stepped in and made everyone shut up.
The entire house has been cleaned in the past week and a half. I got a pedicure. I'm getting a hair cut today. Now I'm just binge watching Grey's Anatomy until tomorrow night
I may or may not have posted on Facebook that if anyone else texts/calls/emails for updates, I will not be responding so they need to stop.

I'll add that I'm a little peeved about getting an ultrasound again. If someone spoils the sex of this baby for me 41 weeks in, I'll probably cry.
I was really worried about that with my BPP ultrasound too, but I told the tech 3 times that we didn't know yet and asked where the butt was before she started. When she got close to that area, I just looked away for my own peace of mind.

rufus426 good for your professor for smacking that talk down.
Geez, I hope no one gets spoiled on the sex at 41 weeks. I'd be pissed.
40+6 over here, no signs of anything happening. I have an appointment for tonight where I'll be asking for an induction sooner rather than later. Pelvic pain has taken a bad turn over the last few days.

Good idea about asking where the butt is. I may just look away for most of the ultrasound anyway. At this point, I'm sure that everything is a lot more obvious than it was 20 weeks ago.

I got a brace to wear and it's really helped at night. I could use two but I'm so close I hate to spend the money on another, so a few times a night I wake up and switch it to the other hand that hurts.

It was extremely obvious my little guy was a boy at my BPP Ultrasound last week. Not a bad idea to remind the te h you don't know and look away unless they're above baby's mid-section.
Wishing everyone here lots of labor wishes! I went to 41 weeks with DD1 and I know how painful it is seeing your due date come and go. The good news is that you definitely won't be pregnant for much longer.

I am now officially over my DD. I tried to schedule a BPP, but because my hospital needs a doctor to request it and not a midwife or patient, I had to email my old OB and hope that he isn't a dick about it. Otherwise I am out of pocket. So over this shit.

I had one really bad day with a total claw for a hand in my first pregnancy, but postpartum it was bad every morning for a few weeks. So you're not alone.

wow. I thought standard practice was 2x/weekly BPPs past 40 weeks? At least it is here and the midwives order it.
That being said, I went to 40 +5 with DS, it sucked donkey d**k

Last time I went to 41 weeks and didn't get an BPPs (that includes an ultrasound right?). I think I just got a NST at 40 weeks and that was it.
