Got my clothes from latched mama and they feel so comfy! I think I need a new nursing bra, though. I only have one really and it's more like a sports bra. Other than that I've just been using nursing tanks all summer. Ugh, dnw to make an appointment with the bra shop to get a better one, though. Guess I don't have too much of a choice though.
It's only 6p and h sent me to bed because I looked so tired. I love that man. I wish she would take bottle so I could actually get some meaningful sleep, though.

This is my fear, DS has been rejecting the bottle at least half the time lately. He was fine with them for the longest time so I'm not sure what the issue is.
Ok I feel a little less concerned now. Thanks! I'm really interested in baby led weaning but obviously not if it's against my pedis recommendation. If this topic is flexible I feel a little better doing my own thing. It's one of those things like bed sharing, I didn't want to bring up BLW in case it would horrify my pedi.
My pedi is all for BLW!! That's what we did for Ds1. It's easy and he pretty much eats anything!

Another really shitty night of sleep 👎🏻 I didn't want to start CIO quite yet but I NEED some sleep. I feel like I have a newborn again. CIO worked about half the time. It's so hard to listen to her cry though 😢
dh wasn't upset about the sink at all, which i didn't really think he would be but i felt bad i broke it. he's going to go get a new one tomorrow and replace it.
snoris , my Pedi said start with Avocado... there is a girl in Ry's DC class and her mom said her pedi said ABSOLUTELY no veggies or fruits yet, ONLY rice cereal ... i just shrugged when she told me that cause everyone seems to have their own opinion. We are also much like you guys and eat only whole food, very rarely anything processed so we started with the avocado. He has also had sweet potato and banana ... he loves them all
We tried BLW with DD and she said FTS. Around 10 months she decided she wanted real food.. As in.. Baby spinach. Raw. Kids are weird. She won't touch anything green now.
I think she's the reason why I don't care so much with this one!
k3am I can see why she loves the outfit. DS1 doesn't really care about clothes. He likes character tees, which I don't love or buy many of. On the rare day he picks his own clothes, it's usually the first thing he can grab, which is usually mismatched and weather inappropriate. His only strong preference is for which shoes he wears. He is very picky about that and we've had battles when the shoes he wants to wear aren't good for the day's activities.

Hi! I haven't been on all day! Just caught up.
walkek85 we love our Merlin magic suit! It made transitioning from swaddle way easy.
k3am that pic of DD cracks me up! She is so dang cute and spirited!
snoris my pedi suggested rice cereal and oatmeal alternating. She said not to overdue the rice because of high levels in arsenic. I have decided to skip cereals and do avocado based on my own Google research. She also said to start at 4 months but we are waiting until closer to 6 months. Obviously, I'm a rebel! 😜

Something else to think about snoris - the kiddo will have an opinion on what they eat too. Some kids just don't take to BLW, others are fine with it.
If you do want to try rice cereal, there are organic brown rice cereals out there that are just ground whole grain. On the rare occasions we gave J cereal we use that or oatmeal. Now I just chuck a yogurt and a cereal bar in his general direction in the morning.
We're trying to wait until closer to 6 months with A, but she is eager to try real food. Mostly because I don't want to add one more element of chaos to dinner time.

westiemom I'm getting very desperate to try anything to get LO to sleep. She was an angel baby when swaddled but now that she's rolling I can't swaddle now and all sleep has gone out the window. I'm looking at ordering and trying the Merlin. Is it pretty true to size?
Holy shit today was/is a long day. It feels like it will never end.
On a random note, how often do your babies joints pop? Ridleys shoulders and wrists pop like a million times a day and Blake is worried she'll have joints like me (mine are a mess and dislocate often).

It is spot on size wise! It seemed big in DD at first but still worked. We just ordered the next size up because she is almost 17 pounds and you can tell it's getting a little small.

DSs wrists and shoulders have started making popping/cracking noises in the past week. Makes me nervous with my shoulder issues but it doesn't seem to bother him. I'm hoping it's like growing related lol

You're not reassuring me since you're in a pretty similar position joint wise. Lol. I hope you're right though and it's just growing related.
