maddisonrose sorry, i didnt get the notification for your tag yesterday! My H is doing well, not much to write home about. Hes over it, patiently waiting to be done with training. Lol
Last night my friend from out of town came over. It was a great night. But omg, holy hangover. Thankfully work snapped me right out of it because SURPRISE! Were being audited. Fuck. I think rather take the hangover. Im so done with today. Also doing my first tour alone tonight. That was a surprise, too. NO MORE SURPRISES.

Just got off the turnpike and onto the next highway. Hi malvo @megaugust10 and ladymike! I know you're all out here somewhere. Haha. N hasn't asked for bedtime milk yet and it's past his regular bedtime. Kid was nuts when we stopped for dinner and ran laps around the truck stop (indoors). I managed to get some strawberries, peaches, and yogurt in him, but I kept his snack cup filled in the car so I knew there wasn't much room for real food. I think we're about 2.5 hours out still. Ugh.
rvamama - I'm definitely serious My MIL lives 30 min from TheTuna15. We met the last time that we were out here in the winter sometime. I've lost all track of time other than seasons so I have no idea when it was. Haha.

Hey guys. Florida is fun but exhausting!! Boys are doing great! Still love the beach! We also rented a golf cart for the week and they love riding along in that thing!!

Warning: long and ranty.
Today actually didnt go as bad as i thought it would and i think i might have actually done a really good job on my first solo tour of the school. I was so nervous because ive never toured the building OR been trained on how to do it. I did stutter a little (gotta work on that) but i did give her some solid information. She toured our sister school first for like, 10 minutes. Then stayed at our school for 45 minutes. So thats gotta be a good sign, right? I really think she might enroll. Then when i got home i texted my boss real quick to say i think it went well and she responded saying "i knew you could do it! Im training you to be an assistant director...i hope thats ok." Honestly, idk if thats a position that I even want. Id probably take it for a pay raise if it ever became available...but i dont WANT it. Like its not a goal of mine on any level. Idk, i feel like im at a weird cross road. I dont want to work this job for the rest of my life, but idk what else id like to do. And she not the first boss to say ive got what it takes to climb the ladder. Assuming we even get stationed locally...do i take the easy route and do what people think im good at? I mean, it would become more administrative work and less classroom time, maybe id like that change of pace? I think also if it ever became available it might be a good idea to take the position so if i ever did branch out, i have that experience on my resume. Idk. Part of me just hates planning for the future when i literally dont know where ill be living in 3 months. I dont want to put all the effort in and get my hopes up for a dead end, KWIM?
Anyways, on FB i reconnected with an old, OLD aquiantance with a 25m old son. Were planning a play date on Saturday. I havent seen him in atleast 6 years and have never met his wife but im taking the leap of faith to make new parent friends.
And I found out my cousin (who has a 23m old) had a brain aneurysm 2 days ago. She had surgery and is awake now but they arent sure how well she will recover from this. Ugh, it absolutely breaks my heart. Please keep her in your thoughts.

ruemorgan - I would say take the training for now because resume builder. If you decide it's not for you, than I don't see why they wouldn't keep you on. It wouldn't make sense. And if you get stationed elsewhere, you have more experience in a number of positions which is going to make it easier to get on right? Also, my cousin had a brain aneurysm last year. The first month was scary but she's mainly back to her normal self. The driving restriction was her biggest complaint of recovery and she has a few issues with some short term memory loss, but all in all, things can go really well for your cousin and I really hope they do!
ruemorgan, if your boss sees something in you to be assistant director, I'd go with it. It may not be what you want to do for the rest of your life but it would look good on a resume. And GL making new parent friends! I need to try and do the same. T&Ps for your cousin.
