Does anyone know when you'd ask a doctor about a cough? He coughs maybe 3 times a day and I'm pretty sure it's just from swallowing his new saliva. But I don't want to be wrong if it's a cold or something more serious... ?
spicysalmonroll DS coughs here and there. It's freaks me out every time, but I think it's just me being extra paranoid since B was sick at this age. I figured it was just normal baby coughs since he seems fine otherwise.
target kids clothes are 20% off online. I bought SD cat and jack leggings ($6!) a few weeks ago in a kids XL-14/16 and those things are nice! I tried them on when they got here and loved them (I'm about a 4/6). So I ordered myself a few pairs today and picked them up a little while ago
So far today has been a good day. DD arrived on time for school without any drama or whining. I felt so much better dropping her off knowing she had a good morning.
SIL picked up DD from school and are getting their nails done. For the first time since DS's birth I'm having company for dinner, SIL and a friend of hers. I'm serving eggplant bolognese over spaghetti squash, salad and gelato. SIL is a vegetarian and DH is gluten free and I am not making more dishes. I don't know how much of dinner I'll be able to enjoy but feel good everyone else will eat well.
Also I had my hair cut and colored while DS slept peacefully in his stroller. All in all a good way to celebrate Shabbat and start the weekend.

K has coughed a few times a day too. Since its not much and I don't see any congestion I'm assuming it's spit up or saliva.
thanks that's what I'm figuring too since he keeps drooling all of a sudden lol
Has anyone ever heard of putting an infant under for a lip tie revision? Like I mean full on general, and it has to be done in a hospital with a high level NICU.
This is excessive, right?
I feel like this is just a money scheme.
I don't know if it's different for lip vs tongue tie. LO had a tongue tie and honestly it took ~15 seconds at the ENT office.

We went to our mommy and baby yoga class. It was fun! It was part sing along and part yoga. Mostly, what I liked was that there were a lot of moms and babies - singing, crying, pooping, feeding. Do a pose, feed a baby, sing a song, burp a baby. It was kind of loud but I loved being around other moms, all just taking care of their littles!

Yes. But we had DD2's laser clipped, topical anesthetic and easy. I was not in the room, but DH said she hated the topical worse than the laser.

Sorry I haven't said much lately, but I've been lurking and love titting when I can. I've been crazy busy. Sorry to all the moms and babies having hard times! DD2 is doing well. I can't believe she's going to be one month old tomorrow! She's such an easy baby compared to DD1 which has been really nice. DD1 I think has hit her "terrible twos" stage early. Because OMG has she been a hand full lately. She's a big part of what keeps me so busy. There's also been all kinds of family drama going on and my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. So, lots of craziness going on.

blueinredhannahbear - shabbat shalom!! Shabbat could not have gotten off on a worse foot for us, though. Had the biggest fight I've ever had with my H in seven years of marriage. And DS was witness to it all. I don't normally go on my phone during shabbat but I feel sick to my stomach and need distraction. Thank goodness my friend dropped off dinner and challah.
DD has a rash on her neck, chest and stomach, and a little bit on her face and head too. Some red pinprick style, some big red blotches. I got her all ready to go pediatrician and then realized my husband had taken my car and I don't know how to drive his. I told the ped what happened, took photos and emailed them. They didn't seem too concerned when they told me to come over and I said I wouldn't get there by the time they closed due to LA traffic. I was instructed to wash her with Cetaphil and put Vaseline on her which I did, and then call them in the morning.
Hi! I survived week 1 back at work. OMG I'm exhausted. All I want to do is go to bed, but I'm on feedings this weekend and DD is wide awake.
I took her to a HS football game tonight to see some of my former students in the marching band. I wore her for the first time in my Lillebaby carrier and she fussed for a minute and then passed out. I walked all the way to the ticket booth, bought my ticket, and it started pouring. So I found a roof to stand under. When it stopped, I went into the game. As soon as I sat down in the bleachers they called a lightning delay and evacuated everyone That's my luck.
I went and found my former students inside the gym and then left. I'm glad I at least got to see everyone, but I'll have to try another game to see their show.
