Made a 94 on my anatomy test!! Class average was a 71. Feels pretty damn good to be the nerdy old lady. I had a sobbing meltdown last night while I was studying about how stressed I am and how I feel like I have no free time and what if this is all just a waste and I make bad grades or just don't get into the nursing program at all and so on and so on... And then my test grade got posted and I felt about a million times better. It's hard, it sucks, but I've got this. Happy Friday ladies!
laceysbryan I can't tell you how many of those I've had, both in nursing and grad school! I actually was sobbing and apologizing to my husband as they posted that I passed my NCLEX. It's worth it and you totally have got this!!!

laceysbryan, congrats on the good grade! I've always been a smart student but college was a waste for me...I had a totally different mindset when I started graduate programs.
Thanks to my Fitbit, I know that I slept a whole hour and 27 minutes last night. Today is a mess of insanity, with two kids getting out early, conferences for both, my oldest starting ten minutes before the boys get out (40 minutes across town), flu shots for everyone, speech for LO, editing my group project by midnight and you know, regular life stuff. Either is going to go amazingly well and you will hear that I invented time travel to make this all work, or it will be a total shit show and I will be the crazy lady on the news who lost her mind thanks to early out days. Time will tell and coffee will be my bestie! Have a great day, mamas!

I love it when Friday sneaks up on me! Rarely happens, but this week it did. I hope today goes well work-wise.
I feel a little ill, my acid reflux has been acting up at different parts of the day. I can't tell if it's just the usual acid reflux, another pregnancy symptom or a side effect of the iron pill.
Yesterday when I picked Leo up at DC, I noticed he was wearing a dirty shirt and not the one I left out for DH to put on him. And this morning DH was going to do drop off again and was getting resistance again with the outfit change. I told him, Leo has to wear clean clothes and he's like but he keeps saying no. So I walked away and said good to know who's boss around here. Just a little jab since he's always saying it's my fault Leo uses the word no so much.
littlelion the clothing struggle is real over here, too. I am not ashamed to say girlfriend has spent two days straight in her PJs- several times. Not a fight I am willing to fight! #fourthkid

kcrus You've got this! Hope that coffee is good and strong and that the news camera can at least have a good picture of you to use. littlelion Sorry you're not feeling well. That's the worst! And I have to lay out clothes for DH or LO ends up at school in a jammie shirt. I'd flip my shit if he went to school in a dirty shirt.

We've been busy running around all week, so we're having a chill day here. Went for a bike ride and played outside this morning.
laceysbryan way to go! kcrus all the coffee and good vibes to you! littlelion feel better! Lo is a hell-beast lately about anything that interrupts what he's doing- butt change, teeth brushing, bath, getting dressed, etc. Doesn't seem to matter if we give a 5 min warning or not. We just let him carry on and throw his fit while we get whatever we needed to done. And he's usually fine after 2.5 seconds. Ah, toddlers.

Yes! Leo's been like that too such as with bath time. Once the water is running he's ok. I still wear the pants, little man. Now when it's 2 against 1, that might be a different story.

Holy fuck nuts. Toddler meltdowns man. First because I was cooking breakfast and it wasn't fast enough. Second for using the "wrong" spoon in her yogurt. And lastly for not putting her water in a different cup when she had one perfectly fine cup.
Holy shizzzzz. I just put her butt down for nap and praying she wakes up on the right side of the crib this time.
I did it, people: I mom'd the SHIT outta this day!
Damn superwoman!! I hope you got some wine as a reward! And chocolate! Or donuts haha
I will dig into some chips and salsa (my favorite vice) once everyone is in bed. LO seems to be having a rough time with the flu shot and is probably going to be stuck on my hip until she goes to bed. But then it's mama time!

kcrus yummmm chips & salsa. We're having tacos for dinner.
Has anyone else's lo got their flu shot yet?? Our hospital hasn't gotten their's yet.
I've been meaning to call our pedi and check. All our pharmacies are advertising for it. I ended up getting mine while I was in picking up a prescription.
DH is in bed already, fell asleep at 7:30 pm. LO is in bed. I'm just sitting here catching up on one of my shows with homemade chocolate chip cookies. Yay!
