Thanks. I'm sure I'll be ok. I'm extremely fortunate that my mother in law is retired and my mom doesn't work so if it gets really bad I can tap out and call for backup.
Ughhh last night was tough. I couldn't lay G in the bassinet at all. He actually nursed almost constantly until 4:30... I finally got him to sleep on my chest around 5 and I was so scared to wake him that I just leaned back and slept for 3 hours sitting up. I don't like doing that, but I was so desperate for sleep and he won't sleep on DH or quiet for him for that matter.

So I'm going to attempt to get R to sleep in his crib tonight. I'm already sleeping like crap with him in the swing I might as will transition to him to the crib. It does seem like he has an issue sleeping flat right now so I propped one end of the crib mattress up a little so it's at an incline. We'll see how this goes.
We have been trying at least one crib nap during the day to start introducing and getting familiar with the video monitor. I think we may try a full night this weekend when H is off.

I was feeling like super mom with a 4 hour stretch to start the night but since then we've been up every hour. I think I did a bad job burping after that feeding :-(
flyakitejennybeans, alternate pats and rubbing circles!!! You'll get a trucker burp almost every time. Or sit them up like they're sitting on their bottom.
C has been nursing for 2.5+ hours and I gave a bottle with 1.5oz pumped milk during that time thinking it would top him off and he is still freaking out.

Hopefully he's gearing up to give you a nice long stretch of sleep!

Is he gassy? Maybe he's comfort nursing because he needs to release some gas.

He doesn't seem it, but I just took another 1.5oz out of the fridge for DH to give and he had a big poop after a few sips. So I'm thinking he was trying to work that out. He did go on to freak out and finish that bottle too. Right now he is laying on me sucking the pacifier. Fingers crossed he falls asleep and stays that way for awhile. My nipples need a break!
A has been eating for about and hour now. I really hope he doesn't want to eat all night because my toddler didn't nap today, so neither did I.
Ugh! I do not look forward to when DD1 starts giving up her naps. I rarely get to nap but at least having the quiet for a bit helps me feel better. Hope you get some decent sleep tonight!

I wish I could figure him out. I just don't know what he wants at bedtime. He was was fussy (again) in his RNP so I got him out and put him on my bed. He settled right in and was almost instantly asleep. While it's not ideal, I didn't move him. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Toddler has been up twice tonight. He threw up the pizza he ate for dinner and peed through his pajamas. E only woke once so far but was going on 3 hours so I ended up waking her to nurse since I am up now. This may end up being my best or worst idea of the day..
I can't sleep, I think I still have adrenaline from giving birth and my heart rate is too high. So I'm nursing the newborn though he already seems to have a preference for lefty. This baby is going to be all about nursing to sleep.
I was up a couple times but other than adding feedings/diaper changes to my tracker app I try to stay off my phone. Don't want the light to wake me up too much - need to go back to sleep once R does!

What app do you use? I've been using a notebook, but we have to keep it up because of DS1. I'm thinking an app would work better for us this time.

Baby Tracker - it was free and I like it so far. I have a Galaxy but I'd imagine it's available for iPhone too if that's what you have.

I have the opposite problem: if I don't bring my phone out, I will fall asleep right where I sit.
