(From yesterday) fishbulb I'm glad you enjoyed that pizza. I would hold onto something like that too no matter how hard I tried to let it go. It would fester in my subconscious. Words hurt.
I think I may be joining the sleep regression party. Still not complaining, simply acknowledging baby I has been latched 90% of the time for the past 5 hours. Also had 2 wake ups which is unheard of for us we are usually in the 0-1 camp. Thank God he did this on a weekend. H graciously handled the wake ups and I remarkably feel decent. Curious to see how his sleep goes today and tonight.

We're in a sleep regression too. And currently I'm stuck under a nursing baby who has leaked through his pjs and swaddle but I don't want to change him because he will be up for the day then.

Last night it wasn't Cam that was so bad. A woke up several times screaming and was up for the day at 5:30. Cam did wake up around 3:30 so it wasn't a perfect night but then he slept until almost 7! I'm hoping A takes a long nap today so I can try to nap while Cam is napping too. One can hope! 😊🙏 There's an activity day at a local park that runs a small train for kids. I really want to take A but its this morning and MH is taking a certification test so I'm on my own. Not sure how I feel about taking 2 kids to a muddy field by myself lol
I hope you had an uneventful night @led. I think I was up every 90 minutes or so checking on the babies because of your situation.
A woke up for the day at 5:30 thanks to a poorly timed poop. I changed her and nursed her back to sleep then J got up. Why don't they understand what Saturdays are?
Our night was okay. Lo was up at 11 and 5 to eat and has starting sucking back his 5oz bottles so fast I think it's time to up them to 6oz. I don't even know how many other times I was up to replace a pacifier or put ds1's blanket on him.
I hope your night wasn't too bad @led.
H let me sleep in but he made cookies this morning. I don't even really like cookies but I want them since I can't have them.
I didn't get any sleep. I spent all night staring at her breathing. Lol. It was an uneventful night. Hopefully go home soon, but we're still waiting on morning rounds.

This whole deal makes me want to get one of those monitors like the owlet or whatever they are called. 😰
Also thanks everyone for weighing in on the second car seat. DH isn't thrilled because money has been tight but neither of us can really argue with the logic!

teraiin I have owlets for all the kids, but we don't use the girls currently because their feet are so petite it leaves marks/bruises. Damian on the other hand wears his every night.

Damian has a white nub of doom residing in his mouth. He gets so agitated at toys he used to love since they won't fit in his mouth to chew. He literally screams at them so I can't give them to him now.

J's sleep is getting progressively worse. We're trying CIO tonight and I dropped him off with my mom this morning so we can get some sleep. Sleep deprivation is no joke and I'm so grateful for our support system here.
Does anyone else's baby sleep on their stomachs? Now that DS can roll over he always ends up on his stomach and it stresses me out.
FFC: baby I has slept on his stomach since 2w 🤐 We learned quickly that's how he sleeps. And that's how we get some sleep. Anyway, if yours can roll there on their own its AOK. That's even in state daycare regulations which are super strict and current with the latest recommendations. They say place them on their backs, if they happen to roll or move to a different position that is fine and safe

When J first started rolling onto his tummy to sleep he wouldn't turn his head. He just slept face down into the mattress. Talk about stressing me out.
Just catching up! @led hope you all are doing ok. Did it end up being a fluke? How scary. Enjoy your lunch.
They think maybe reflux choked her? But that is 100% a guess but to me not a likely one since she barely spits up and had never had reflux. But whatever. I get that it's just one of those things that often doesn't have a reason. Still scary.
@led so glad your home. When my lo was under 2 months he would choke on spit up. It was always just after eating when I put him back down in the cradle. It was scary. He only did it at night because that was really the only time he was flat right after eating. But he was not a big spitter either and he rarely spit up during the day.

We are making our way back after the wedding. DS has been great. DD stayed with grandma and grandpa and I am glad because this quick but long trip would have been too much for her.
So glad you are home @led. Praying everyone gets some rest tonight. Your strength amazes me all the time.
This kid. Finally asleep for the first time since noon thirty. That would be about 9 hours awake with zero sleep. This is so unlike him. So curious about what tonight brings.
