Just curious - how old are we all?
I find that I've assigned many of you to a category (older than me, about my age, younger than me), probably based on things you've mentioned about your age at various times, but now I'm curious to know.
I'm 34. I had DD1 when I was 28, DD2 when I was 30 and DD3 when I was 33.

scorpioscuba, yeah in German terms I'm a young mother (lots of other moms with kids in preschool with the DDs are in their early 40s), but I feel like compared to most of the board I'm old. Good to know there's another mid-30s lady here.

I'm 33. Around here that is pretty moral for my 4yo, but definitely in the old end for my younger two. Dh is 37 turning 38 in a few months and he feels old for having babies. I think it depends on who you're around.

I would have guessed anyone with 2-3 LO's was mid to late 30's. Where I live/work, people usually don't starting having children until they are late 20's/early 30's.

I turned 40 in June. My H will be 40 early next year. I was 37 when dd1 was born, which seems pretty typical in our friend group. I partied my face off and traveled the world in my 20s/early 30s. I think I would have been a disaster of a mom then!

I just turned 34. I had DD1 at 30 and DD2 at 33. This was around normal age for a few of my friends but most of the rest of family and friends this is old. Oh well right. I'm happy.

I think I got most of them - never would have guessed NellieOleson was 40, though, in my mind you're a year or two younger than me! And I think I was picturing silverspoon in her late 20s.
Now that pinktartan9 mentions it, though, a lot might have to do with what # kid this is/was for you, which is obviously a horrible way to estimate age, but there you have it. Because all women have kids at the exact age I had them. Even in person I'm really bad at guessing ages between 28ish and 44ish, though. I could have sworn 2 moms in the DDs' preschool were my age or a few years younger. I then found out they're 10 years older than me. I guess it was a flattering mistake? With one she was saying she started a new job and I asked why she had left her old one. She said, "Well, it was just time for a change. I'd been there for 22 years." And my jaw dropped - I asked if she had started when she was 12 and she laughed and said no, when she was 21.
So apparently I'm better at guessing these things online??
I just turned 31. I had DD when I was 28 and DS when I was 30. I would like to have 2 more babies, ideally before I turn 35-36. Moms around me are generally older and have kids later, as opposed to when I lived in LA where everyone starts having kids in their early 20's, it seems!
I am going to join the I cannot believe that NellieOleson is 40 from her pics club! Unreal! [starts drinking whiskey and smoking Parliaments]
I got married at 30, had DS at 32 and DD at 34. I am now 35. Getting married and having kids in your 30s is pretty much the norm in the MD-DC-VA region. You need your 20s to get all of your professional degrees! LOL! And also, to party your face off. I would have been a very resentful Mom if I had started much earlier.

I'm 34 as well crimsonandcloversjames2015 and kcrkcs. I had E when I was 34. That's pretty typical for our group of friends, but old for a first baby where we live. We want at least one more.
+1 to cannot believe NellieOleson is 40, looking amazing lady!

Late on this per usual, but want to play. I'm 30. Married at 22 (first of my friends), DS1 at 27 (ahead of many friends) and DS2 at 29. By the time I had DS2, a lot of my friends had one child or were pregnant with their first. It's crazy what a difference a few years makes!
ETA: also like, valie, I feel much older than I am physically. I'm out of shape and sore a lot.
I'm 27. I was 22 when S was born, and I turned 27 one month after M was born. This is considered "old" to be having kids in my family. Aside from my sister and one cousin, everyone had at least 2 kids by the age of 25, and most had 3/were done by then.
