I think I'm going to leave DSs car seat in the car and just carrying him in the doctors office. He's getting so heavy for me with my back and it's usually so tight in there I end up running into things lol. I may just throw a onesie, a couple diapers, and some wipes in my purse and forgo the bigger diaper bag too lol
I rarely carry baby I in his seat. He's always peering over my shoulder. He loves it up there. I also leave the diaper bag in the car most of the time and just run out and grab it if we need something.
I usually bring him in the seat and then take him out of the seat but he's just too big for me to do that I think. He's like baby I and likes to look around and peer around at things.
I'm kind of excited for tomorrow. I am having lunch with a friend who may be interested in working with me for DC. If it works out we'd be licensed for more kids so it wouldn't negatively impact my income. I think having another adult present just in case I need help and just having an adult to talk to would decrease my stress. I hope it works out! I think we both understand it's not worth messing up our friendship over and if it works out, great, if not, bummer but okay.
Hope it works out. When my sister ran a home DC, she had a good friend of hers that was a SAHM of one kid who started working for her part time. It was great for both of them.
Yes teraiin baby I rubs his eyes a lot but never seems upset by it and they never seem irritated. Sometimes it's just when he's tired. Other times my mom thinks he's feeling his eyelashes growing. Could be scratchy when they pop through? I also read they could be interested in the sensory of when you see light through your eyelids
