RandomName I'm a glad your bf is ok but that sucks about the car. Will insurance cover it all? Also, hope the snot machines dry up soon.
We are waiting to find out. He was stopped on the highway in bumper to bumper traffic. The guy behind was texting and hit him pretty hard. The back is likely covered by his insurance. The front of our car and the car my BF was pushed into may not be and if not we have a pretty big deductible Hoping for the best.
Maybe Canada is different, but when I was in an accident like that (in your husband's position) the guy that rear ended me was responsible for the car that I was pushed into. He caused the accident, even if he didn't hit both cars, he's responsible.

I'm here! Reading and love titting. My week has been crazy already. The two biggest culprits are: 1. My H has a kidney stone so he's been in pain and at the dr off and on since Friday. 2. We found a new office! And move in 10 days. So now on top of all of my other regular job duties I'm overseeing some construction (we're demoing a wall), new paint, new carpet, new locks, internet and phone install, etc at the new office. And it all has to be done so we can move furniture before the 1st.
I'm just a little overwhelmed at the moment.
A is doing well though! She cut her 4th tooth, and adds new vocabulary words every day (nana and good are the newest). She started this thing where she would point and whine at her food while we were feeding her, so we taught her she doesn't get food unless she signs more or please...it's adorable.
RandomName fx insurance covers the front too! I don't understand why they would only cover half the accident, that makes my head hurt. Glad your BF is ok.
I am here. I just went and did a work out. I need to take care of myself better this year. I have a really stressful situation with a student and exercising helps me relax. The kiddos are great. We are busy with school and extra circulars (dance and scouts). Collin is a riot. He loves his blankie and is into everything.
RandomName, that sucks about your BF's accident and insurance hassle.
Somebody brought up chia seed pudding on here a few days ago. Sorry, I can't remember who mentioned it. I've been craving it since, so I made a chocolate version. Can't wait to eat it tomorrow!
I am counting down the minutes until I am done. I've put in a long day of writing and my brain is fried! Also shitty coworker called in sick today for the 3rd Monday in the past month (the only one he didn't was labour day and that was a holiday!!). I highly suspect it's because we had come to an understanding that he'd work over the weekend and we'd put his sections into the report today. I'd bet money they're still not done. Like you are a 45 year old man. stop acting like a baby and just do your shit!!!
LOL drinks tonight?
How does shitty coworker still have a job? Seriously. I am dumbfounded every time you post about this. Has the man done any work at all over the past year?
I'm sorry packmomma but I totally laughed at finding the dried lugie. I'm sure karma will get me
Oh it will I'm sure. And it wasn't a dried loogy. That he spit right into my hand as I went to put him down for bed. I had a dried film of snot on my chest from him nursing I guess. And there's snot on my shirt. I'm gross.
I feel like I'm routinely covered in snot these days. Abigail has had a runny nose for the past 3 freaking weeks thanks to a cold. She's continually wiping her face on my shirt. It's totally nasty. I feel your pain.

Do you have a police report? If so, I can't imagine that the driver who caused the accident wouldn't be at fault for everything that happened, front and back. My H was in an accident last year where a driver turned in front of him and hit his car, causing him to then spin and hit another car on a different street. The driver that caused the accident was responsible for all damages to our car (totalled) and the car my H's car hit. The driver's insurance covered everything. I hope that's the case for you too. If the insurance is balking, you might consider getting a lawyer. I'm glad you bf was okay and I'm sorry you're dealing with this whole mess. It's so stressful!
ampaints, Doctor's appointment went fine. They didn't have much to say. Basically just that I shouldn't freak out yet about the part of the scar that is raised, and said that it just needs time. Hmm... not sure, but I'll try to be patient. Thanks for checking in. How was your first day back at work?

ampaints thanks for asking. I'm ok. I'm in a private group with a bunch of ladies from TB pre implosion and something really tragic happened to one of them. I leaned the news Sunday and it has rocked our little group. In other better news we put an offer on a house and are waiting to hear back.
aydee, it does take a LONG time for the scar to look better. It took forever for mine to look not new and like over a year to look normal. I seriously urge you to do the vitamin e capsules on it with Coco butter.
flippinchica I'm sorry about the bad news, I hope whomever is involved is better soon. Good luck in the house, that's exciting. Any idea when you will hear back?
aydee +1 to taking a bit to heal, but eventually scars so. My first day back was crazy, but that's the way it goes.
@mrspanpan I also decided to skip washing my hair today and just wearing it up. I hope J is feeling better.
I'm here. All but the toddler, myself included, are dealing with ridiculous allergies. My head has been in a cloud and by the time I sit down to catch up I basically pass out.
I've also been packing for Mexico in 5 days! It looks like they're expecting rain most of the time, but from what I'm told it's like Florida - lots of quick thunderstorms. I don't even care at this point. I just need the vacation!

I feel like every workplace has that guy. I have one. And he'll never get fired for it because everyone around him can pick up the slack. It's bullshit, but what can you do?

Yup exactly this. He's got a really good bullshit game in meetings, he likes to emphasize team work and everyone pats him on the back. I've stopped saying "we" altogether. My only solace is that it is known in the industry he doesn't actually work so when we're both job hunting...
MIL still hasn't come to visit ds3. I don't get it, and I am becoming more annoyed daily.
Wait, what? He is one and she has never met him?
Yup. She lives two states away but is too cheap to spend $200 to get here. She would stay with us and we would feed her. And she just sold her house...And she is retired. I do not understand the hold up.
