cosmicav I'm really impressed by your peeing if it's that loud! He should be high-fiving you, not chiding you.
I was like "am I hitting 60 decibels of peeing?" It's the force of this kid sitting on my bladder I guess? I can try to tone it down a notch, but I don't think my kegels are that intense. Lol
I'm trying to make a list for Costco and it's taking forever because I keep getting nauseous and can only think of really bad foods to eat. Legit the first three things on my list are cheez its, twizzlers and double stuffed oreos. I probably need to edit this down and add somethings to actually cook
Eat the things!
Eat healthier when you're feeling better It's okay to feed the nausea sometimes!
What about lasagna or other mild pasta dishes? Mashed potatoes? Apple sauce? Cereal? Those are my staples for when I am feeling icky.
My H complained to me this morning that I am peeing too loud MOTN and its waking him up. Lolol I am still laughing about it.
lol - I've been told I return to bed too loudly after I pee at night. Could be because I'm still mostly asleep and it's dark, but MH seems to think I'm stumbling around on purpose.
I'll be on mat leave for 6 months. I'd like to keep dd home from DC some days to save some $ but I know things are going to be insane. How many days a week do you recommend so I don't lose my mind? I was thinking on sending her m,w,f or Tues,Thurs.
erinshelley21 I'm sorry you're dealing with the bleeding/spotting again. Hope you're able to take it easy a bit.
AFM My allergies are killing me this morning! The sinus pressure and stuffiness are giving me a headache and I'm missing the good meds. Definitely a Monday...and in for a long week with work.

I ended up calling my OB and just left a message with the nurse. I'm still just spotting but still having some cramps. These have felt more like period cramps than what I've been feeling. The more I thought about it, I would be filled with regret if I just waited to talk to her at my appointment next week and something was wrong.
This has all been mentally and emotionally challenging. I'm feeling worthless around the house and as a wife and mother.
erinshelley21 LT was for ((hugs)). You're not worthless. Try to let yourself be okay with laying low until you can get answers I'm sorry you're going through this.
So according to my doctor's office I have only gained 4 pounds in the 1st tri. I REALLY don't know how this is possible because I feel like a balloon.
Pregnancy is crazy! Even if the number on the scale doesn't change, the shape and size of the abdomen shifts immensely. I'm still down about 10lbs from prepregnancy weight (up 5lbs from my low point!), but my belly is noticeably bigger, so I look at the scale in disbelief every time I weigh myself.
Yeah I'm majorly skeptical because even though my ute is barely above the pelvis my belly is like WHA-BAM HELLERRR!
I think I'll participate in HDBD this week and share what I look like "sucking it in" versus relaxed. It's crazy.
erinshelley21 - I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Take care of yourself and know that you are doing exactly what you need to do for yourself and the baby.

I talked to the nurse and after she talked to my OB, she said we are already doing everything I can be doing at this point. Just keep monitoring and continue pelvic rest.
I'm trying to not be so hard on myself. I just feel so guilty and DH and I's marriage used to include quite a bit of sex so between that and not being able to do things I'm used to doing I really don't feel like myself.
I'm sorry erinshelley21, but I'm glad you got the reassurance from the doctor that you're doing all you can right now. Remember it's temporary! You and your H will be able to get back to where you were in time. Hang in there girl!
@amc25, a chest freezer is one of the most useful appliances you can own, in my opinion! Mine is mostly filled with dog food, but before DD I prepared maybe a dozen crock pot meals and had them in the freezer ready to go. Absolutely worth the investment (or even better if you can get someone to buy it for you!).

Which one of you was it that asked, what felt like a long time ago, if pregnancy glow was meant to refer to the shine emanating from all their zits? Because my body has circled back to that place kind of suddenly. I have probably 20 spots on my face and then some super attractive zits in the collarbone/cleavage area. It's a great look.

HI! I haven't been here in like forever. Life has been so crazy! DH is in his first year of teaching, I'm student teaching, we just bought our first house, finding child care sucks, and ya know, pregnancy exhaustion. I have been lurking a bit though.
Congrats to everyone who knows the sex of their baby already!
Sorry to all of you who have had slight (or more major) complications. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Ok I'm not totally worthless. I managed to save us $62/month on our cell phone and Internet bill. I also made spaghetti.
You're better than me, Stoffers lasagna is on our menu for the night which is a major step down since I normally make homemade noodles and sauce. I told my H I'm making sure he's not too spoiled for when baby gets here, poor guy
Stouffers lasagna is my fave! I actually have one of the mini ones in my freezer that's like a single serving (although the box said there are 2.5 servings) and am trying to figure out when I can eat it.
I just tried on jeans for the first time in...a while? I didn't realize I've been rocking the leggings a lot lately without even trying. Jeans can be buttoned, but are VERY uncomfortable. I have a couple pair of maternity jeans but they are full panel and seem to slide down a lot - do you all recommend belly bands?

I like them with my regular jeans, but it's imperfect at best. Will the hair tie trick work/help? (Around the button and through the button hole, in case you aren't aware!)
