DS1 was up sneezing all night. DS2 was up coughing all night. Baby #3 was kicking me all night. DH had a work meeting OOT at their corporate office today. He'll be back late tonight, so it's me, the boys and swim class by ourselves.
I think I'm going to make an appointment for DS2. The cough is awful. He's had it a week and a half and it just keeps getting worse. I've done everything I can for it, which the doctor will probably tell me. But I think I'd feel better making sure his lungs sound clear. He had a cold before this. Of course it wasn't anywhere near this bad at his 18 month appointment last week.

So its Wednesday in two days I have to get DD and my pregnant butt on a plane to NC with a carseat and luggage. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING!! OMG and the flight is at 6:25 that means wake up lil bit after my dh has packed the car fully and put on her shoes are 4:30am. MIND you she is going to be a monster since I woke her up like 3 hours prior to normal time. Strap her into her carseat on this rolley contraption at the airport and lug her around, pray that TSA just does a hand search of the carseat SOO I don't have to unattached and reattach the damn thing. All while 7 months preggers. AND THEN...get to the gate have someone help me carry the stupid heavy carseat to her seat and latch it in to put her butt in...did I mention she hates her carseat currently. TO have her scream for like 10 mins till I can get her milk and all manners of snacks to cool her jets so I can put on elmo. Guys if you hear about a woman carted off to the asylum preggers from a plane...it was me.
mrswillie, this is your third bravo you!! I have one other one and I am just trying to figure out the logistics there lol. I do hope you get a handle on lil man's cough. I know my Dr. can be the same way sometimes. Your like umm its different and they're like no no its the same..frustration.
legalbeagle, Is this your first pic...I feel like I have never seen "you" (your torso ) before. Good job on getting a pic in already.
crimpgirl, OHHH sleep sucks balls. I have been taking on Tylenol PM which has been helping me from flipping 8 times to 5 times and now I have a fan directly in my face. DH complains but damnit I am so hot. So I just gave him a comforter and told him to deal. I think a ponytail definitely is still professional and classy. As long as you don't throw it up with a scrunchy..then you and me are going to have a lil talk. UGH have you put your car up on Ebay. That is the only way I sold mine. I sold mine to someone like 4 states away. The man drove all the way here to get it.
@kc295905, you know I am so happy my lil bit has not gotten attached to one movie yet. We are anything animated or fun looking she seems to be interested in. BUT she screams till we have play time outside so thank the gods the weather has been cool and I can let her run around and play. She actually pointed to shoes one night when she woke up at 2 am and was like shoes...and mommy was like "Dream on hooker"..lol.
crimpgirl it always sounds like a good idea to "do" my hair until it's actually time to do it.
@kc295905 oh I hope your DS is ok too. Yeah, he's laying on the floor having a fit right now because he wants to get in the bathroom to play, but I closed the door. Bad mommy!
WineNChocolate you can totally do the solo flight! I took DS1 solo while 33 1/2 weeks pregnant and then went solo this past January with DS1 who was 3 and DS2 who was 10 months. Both during snow storms to the destination. Airline cancelled my return flight home when I had both with me, so I had to wake them up from naps, throw them in the car and get to the airport to get the last flight out before the rest of the snow came. Not sure which airline you're flying, but you can get a pre-board for your "disability." We're flying Saturday too and I get a pre-board at the counter near the gate. Good luck! You got this!
Oh and no, I definitely will NOT be flying solo with 3!

Oh man crimpgirl, we had photos at work a few weeks ago and I was pissed. Couldn't they have done those a few months ago when you weren't pregnant?!? LOL
mrswillie & @kc295905, sorry about the sickies - I hope everyone is feeling better soon.
WineNChocolate, oh man, hoping things go more smoothly than you are anticipating! Are you at least going somewhere fun?
It's currently getting ready to thunderstorm here and I'm grateful that it waited until after I got to work.
I was really on the fence about going to a conference in Chicago in early November, and decided against it (it was just before the travel cut-off, I would have needed to reschedule two dr's appointments, multiple days, DH wasn't comfortable with it, etc.). Then another conference in Chicago again a couple of weeks earlier... so I'm going to that one! Looking forward to it, should be much easier on me - a little earlier, shorter conference, no need to lug around tons of luggage, hotel right next to the conference location... should hopefully be a fun solo getaway before I don't want to leave our baby once she's born!
If I can be bothered to actually put on real clothes today, I may take a bump pic. I'm currently sporting my unicorn PJ's from Target and entirely too comfortable (lazy) to put on real clothes. I don't have to be anywhere until 5 this afternoon and I've been up since 4am (thanks to kicky baby and needing to pee every hour).

Winnifred , hope you get good weather for the conference! I have a feeling you'll be in my neck of the woods work wise. Plenty of good restaurants to dine at!
WineNChocolate , hats off to you for attempting the traveling. GL! I barely make it out on the weekends alone with DS. I'll pass on the airports.
mrswillie ,@kc295905 , hope your LO's feel better soon!

Good morning friends! I had a great appointment yesterday and both babies are measuring over 3 lbs. yay! The only bummer is that baby girl is now positioned directly across my belly and not head down anymore. The babies are kind of making a "T" shape. This could all change, so I'm not freaking out...yet. I also think this is why my belly has a weird shape to it right now. Pic below....in a dress you've probably seen 5 times. Haha

Working from home today. I woke up with an eye infection. I felt it starting yesterday but this morning my eye was close shut. Hopefully I can see my eye dr today and see what she says.

Ok, I have a FTM safety question....
So, I ordered the printables above and bought frames last night. The plan was to hang these above the babies crib (kind of like the picture). THEN, my husband tells me he thinks that hanging things above a baby crib is a safety hazard. Ok - so what's the verdict - can you hang things over a crib? I've never had a picture spontaneously fall off the wall, but I guess it's possible.

We've always hung stuff above the cribs. Just make sure they are up high enough they can't yank them down and secure. I've never had pictures just spontaneously fall off the walls so I don't feel like they are safety hazards.

Ok - this was my plan. Hang them high and make sure they are more secure than normal.

I think if the frames are hung correctly it shouldn't be a problem for the early stages. Once my nephew got bigger, he's stand in the crib and managed to bang it against the wall repeatedly or bang on the wall with his hands. That's when I'd be afraid the frames may fall on them.
Also, I'd never hang the frames next to the crib because our dry walls suck so bad. The minute we drill a hole it starts to flake apart. It's like the cheapest dry wall ever. We use anchors but even that doesn't help for too long.
requiressnacks, super cute bump shot AND cute printables!! I had the same question about putting frames over the crib. In our case, we always use the 3M hanging strips for frames, since I hate holes in my walls. I'm guessing I'd have to bite the bullet and just use a nail for any frames over the crib. I also want to wait and see what our mobile looks like once it's hung, not sure if putting frames behind it would be too much or not... so we'll see!
P.S. The people who owned our house before us put up their kids' names on the walls in both bedrooms, using like 5 nails per letter. I hate them. So much hole filling...
littlelion, yes, looking forward to it! I'll be downtown, about 1/2 mile from Millenium Park. Last year I went to the November conference, it was just one night so I planned to wear fleece leggings, boots, a dress and blazer to the conference, and carrying my overnight bag... such a bad idea because it was randomly 80 degrees and super humid, I was sweating to death all day!! Hoping the forecast is accurate this time...
requiressnacks, we have a few pics above the crib and hung them like normal plus we used those 3m sticky things to make sure they are really stuck to the wall.
The week is half over, thank goodness. I did get all of my 7th grade plans finished. It's an entire 3" binder plus a crate of class sets. I put on 2lbs in the last week and a half, I've been super slothlike with the 90+ degree heat that won't go away.

WineNChocolate, I used to be so good about taking bump pictures and the post-20 weeks I feel like time has sped up and I started forgetting. My torso is baaaaaack. And omg good luck on your trip. You are a warrior.
requiressnacks, I lived in CA for two years and so still get nervous about stuff above kids' beds even though NYC is unlikely to get an earthquake. We may put something above baby girl's crib. DS has a paper mache triceratops head above his bed now, but it makes me nervous. Hopefully babies will sort themselves out in the next month or so.
mrswillie, @kc295905, hope your littles feel better soon. So awful.

So I am not the mom to ask on the safety thing. Because well I do what works with my child. requiressnacks ,
So we have had ellies name hung above her crib and now there is a picture. We also might of had bumpers like all through her life and there might of possibly been a blanket with her from like 4 months...so there is that too. My hubs used hanger that are more secure than just like a wire and nail. SO if things shake or jiggle it wont come crashing down into the crib.
requiressnacks, I live in an earthquake state, so I'm sticking with decals over the crib. Framed prints I want to get will maybe go above dresser/changing table or elsewhere in the room.

@mrsalbsrs with DS1 I had planned on giving him a blanket *maybe* after a year.... until I sent a cute pic to my friend who had one LO and she said WHY doesn't he have a blanket? So I think I have him one somewhere around 9-10 months. DS2 probably got one around 8-9 months. I just gave them little receiving blankets, but they slept SO much better with something to cuddle with. Flame away! Lol

I'm so behind today, this is 28w3d:
Today must be safety day or something because I decided to google whether or not a breathable crib liner was a good idea (since I've registered for one and received it), and apparently it's better to just not use one. I totally fell into that FTM trap, didn't I?
