So I tried on my first pair of LuLaRoe leggings last night they were wonderful, I was so afraid to put them on because I didn't want to fall in love, but I have already become obsessed with looking at all the pretty patterns they offer...
I need help finding a new sippy cup/cups for LO...we currently use the nuby cups with the silicone nipples but he has chewed them all and no he can turn them over and spill the milk out....so I am looking for new ones either soft nipples or hard nipples... let me know what you like and don't like...

Working from home today. Woke up with my eye closed shut, eye infection. I'm waiting to call my eye dr and see if I can go in later today.
Funny enough, yesterday was the start of only using cups no more bottles for Leo. He bit a hole in the nipple of his last one. He's mostly drinking out of cups during the day but bedtime he always asks for his bottle. It wasn't as hard as I expected. He cried but I had given him plenty of milk beforehand so I knew it wasn't that he needed milk it was just the bottle. Getting rid of that last bottle was harder than stopping bf'ing!

babyw15 I'm waiting not so patiently for it to cool down enough so I can wear my LLR leggings. As far as sippy cups- we have a big variety we like. The take n toss cups are easy to clean. We have some cheap straw cups and the Munchkin 360 cup that lo likes too. kcrus I hope you can sneak in a little bit of you time, even if you can't take a while day. littlelion yikes, hope your eye feels better. We ditched the bottle a couple of weeks ago too. Lo was the same as Leo, asking for his bottle at naptime. We swapped it out for a bedtime snack instead. He was grumpy for a few days but got over it.

Wtf is up with my kid's diapers today? We're on outfit number 4 (plus a sheet change because why the hell not) because pee keeps leaking out in the oddest places. I got an email about a job opportunity today teaching a parent tot class. I thought about it all afternoon, but decided not to pursue it. Part of me thinks it'd be stupid to walk away from this opportunity, but I'm just not ready to go back to work yet.
Been crazy here. Lots of laundry, I've been baking a lot, and I went on a candy mold spree at Michael's. I have a Drs appt at 3:30 pm today. LO had a hard time going to sleep for her nap. DH's office is right next door, and he's been on a massive conference call for almost 3 hours. And it's still going! My bro called. He's going to be in town this weekend and wants to hang out on Friday night. It sounds like a wonderful idea, and I'm hoping my FIL will be able to watch LO so we can have a lovely night. I told DH that I'm just going to pick out a new camera for LO's room and buy it next payday. She doesn't make a noise when she wakes up, unless she has a bad dream. She just jumps on the bed, and we have no idea why. This morning, I finally checked on her at 9 am. She was wide-eyed and busy-tailed, and started jumping. She doesn't have a bunch of toys in her crib, but she does like to push the buttons on the sleep sheep and glo-worm.
ashlantic that's such a hard decision. Do you have an idea of when you'd be ready to return to work?
We've been talking about TFAS starting next summer, so ideally I'd like to wait to go back to work until lo and any future lo's could be in preschool. And it's looking like I'm going to need to go back to school if I want to teach preschool anywhere else besides a daycare setting. I think it'd probably be better to go back to school now while I have the time and then worry about finding a job later. Daycare costs are outrageous in my area and being a preschool teacher doesn't pay much, so at this point most of my salary would go to DC if I did work. I'm happy to have the time with lo anyways.

babyw15 love LLR leggings! We use straw cups (mostly playtex, but they are a little annoying to clean) and the munchkin 360 type too. kcrus sorry for all your busy days!! Hope a day with nothing planned comes up for you asap!! littlelion ah hope it clears up quick! Glad dropping the bottle was easier than you thought! ashlantic sorry about the pee problem... I wouldn't feel bad about turning down the teaching opportunity, if I didn't have to work I would definitely be staying home. I'm sure when you're ready to go back something will come up! raven hope you get your night out!!

Well now we have the mancold at my house and I'm trying my hardest to hide all my eye rolls. In better news mh got a job at a company he worked at for ten years. It's a little less money than we were hoping for though and now we need to get a car asap! Hoping we can find a good deal on something cheap and it will last without too much maintenance. I've also been bribing B to sleep in his bed all night with a cookie in the morning. It has worked a couple times lol!! I'm hoping he keeps it up and I'll just start making healthy breakfast "cookies" for him!
Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday. littlelion dropping the bottle was awful for us too! babyw15 loveeeee my llr leggings! Having a party next month to feed my addiction. I also like the first years hard spot cups - like raven said they are so easy to clean! kcrus hope you got lots of coffee today! ashlantic that sounds like an awesome opportunity but I think your plan of school now and work later probably makes the most sense - I'm sure more opportunities will come your way when you're ready to return!
DH has been traveling a ton for work and it's been stressful. September stinks at work to begin with (for me) so add being the sole caretaker while he's gone and it's just not been a fun time. I took Leo to dinner and ice cream tonight though since DH was gone and that was fun his speech is taking off! He probably has 15 words now and he uses them appropriately! It's amazing. However now I need to watch my own mouth because he's parroting everything we say and I'm surprised he hasn't already dropped some bad words.
