I got by far the most sleep I've gotten in days last night! Half of it was with G laying on my chest and me basically sitting up, but sleep is sleep. I had 2 successful bassinet transfers and got about 4 hours of sleeping like a normal adult!
Yay for a good night cbrandt1, we also had a good night here. After an evening of cluster feeding, we had only two short nursing sessions with baby going back to his bassinet easily.
I'll probably go to the movies this afternoon to see Bridget Jones baby at the stars and strollers showing.

I think I held E all night? I may have put him down for one stretch? I'm not even really sure. So much tired. Boob group this morning! I'm excited to see how big he's gotten!
I'm here and still pregnant. I paged the MW yesterday about the possibility that it was my water that broke. She didn't seem to think so but moved my appointment to today (as opposed to tomorrow) so she can check me out. I've had no further leaking, no contractions. Essentially no signs of anything. So I either had a "high break" or I peed. So embarrassing.

This was us too! I swear these babies talk beforehand and decide that they will never wake at the same time, but wake an hour apart. Even trying to wake the other once one wakes up is so tough.
Sorry for the possible false alarm @snuff9861 - hopefully it was actually your water!!
annapunkalunka yes! you just gave me the great idea to order this baby's stocking - woot!
I had two episodes of timeable contractions yesterday that lasted for over an hour but they both petered out. So here I am. It's a rainy day today so we will lay low.

I'm completely lost on naps for a ~3 week old. This is the same problem I had with DS... I don't understand what to do other than try to lay her in the pnp when she falls asleep nursing. Most of the time she wakes 15 minutes later when I lay her down though . If I hold her, she will get a good nap but I can't do that all day! Ugh, I'm terrible soothing a newborn baby to sleep.
annapunkalunka you're like my daughter - since there is Christmas stuff in the stores already she won't stop talking about it. I keep reminding her it's Halloween, Thanksgiving, her birthday THEN Christmas. (But I love Christmas myself so I actually don't mind!)
I'm freaking out a bit because I'm not feeling as much movement as usual, even after my coffee. I still feel her it's just a lot less. What's the rule for calling, under 10 movements in 2 hours??
Super busy day at work since I had meetings yesterday. 39 weeks today!
I've been up since about 3:30, contractions are not too strong but about ten to fifteen minutes apart. I've got a regular appointment at the ob this morning. Told my husband to stay home and come with me to the doctor. I don't want to have a contraction while driving if I can help it.
I just ordered E's Christmas stocking. I don't know what the kids are going to be for Halloween, but I've got Christmas covered. #falalalala
I bought a mike wazouski (?) Onsie for DS for Halloween. I don't know if he'll wear that or something else though depends on if I find something cuter or not. As for Christmas, after working in retail for almost 7 years I refuse to have anything to do with Christmas until after thanksgiving. And I absolutely can't stand Christmas music anymore. Im not a scrooge i love our Christmas traditions and what not, just at the correct time of year. I think though that my aunt is making him a stocking like shw did for all of us. Which I love, they are cross stiched and so cool.
We are getting newborn/sibling pictures done today. I'm also so glad holiday season is here. I love Halloween. I wish I could Figure out how to post pics on her with mobile so I could show you the costume I made my toddler.

I had some quiet days towards the end. It freaked me out but if you're still feeling some movement you're probably ok. Especially since it's a busy day at work baby could be moving more than you've noticed. If you can take a short break I would have a snack and see what happens with her movement if you really pay attention.

Don't be embarrassed. When I started feeling trickles during labor I flat out told the nurse either my water was breaking or I peed myself. She just laughed. They're so used to those kind of questions and there's nothing to be embarrassed about.

I'm so excited! I hadn't planned on getting professional newborn pics done but realized once he was here I was going to regret not having any. A really good newborn photographer in the area has been able to get us in next Monday! He'll be almost 2 weeks old but I'm so excited to be able to get pictures done since I started looking after he was already here!

fem have you tried drinking some juice or pop/soda and laying on your left side? That usually got the baby going for me. They want 10 movements within two hours.
fem, if it eases your mind to go in and be checked, you should. Better safe than sorry. When I was bleeding, they said I probably didn't need to go in, but could if it made me feel better. I'm glad I did because it was placental abruption.

Getting a bag together for my first sleepover with DS. I'm hoping I can actually get some sleep while at the hospital but well see. Im very nervous about being with him allm night. I just keep thinking what if its a disaster and I'm not ready? Gulp. Things at home have completely stalled. My desire to do housework is gone.

She perked up after lunch but thank you and sodapop ! I have had a crazy day at school but I made sure to grab a juice at lunch and she was moved around like crazy.
ETA: I see I missed saying thank you to LadyNymeria too Also you got me excited saying things slowed down at the end. I'll take any chance that labor is approaching possible.
