I've been thinking of dressing DD up as a witch with the sonogram on a cauldron and some text along the lines of "double, double toil and trouble..." Would that be obvious enough for twins? We've told close family and friends, but haven't made anything FaceBook official.

Does the sonogram clearly show the 2 babies? If so, I think that's obvious enough and super cute!

My first sonogram shows 2 "babies", and is labeled. I go in again on Monday and am hoping for a picture with babies more defined.

To make it more obvious you could make up a second part of the rhyme? Like, "Double, double, toil and trouble, I wanted a sibling but now there's double!" or something like that.
Pdq I had the did the first photo, then found out we were having twins but I already got rid of my sons boots because they didn't fit, so I had to improvise lol Poof boots and birthyears
mustloveerica, I love it! And ditto about feeling good about letting the cat out of the bag. No twins here, but it's been so relieving to tell my coworkers.

I'm so nervous to tell my CWs. I work in sales so I know I'm going to lose customers and my coworkers will have to deal with mine while I'm gone.

I agree. I felt relieved when I told my boss and have been slowly letting coworkers know as I get my comfortable about it. My boss and office mates have been great about it. I was pretty worried about telling my boss since I only started this position in mid July

Ugh, I'm nervous too. I'm a teacher but with a specialty position and brand new to the district. That means almost no leave and feeling terrible about the time I've already taken. My principal is awesome, but very annoyed at the personal situation this year. 😕

Love all these announcements! It is taking everything in me not to announce yet, but holding off as our anatomy scan in on Halloween and we want to use our costumes to announce! For those familiar with A League of Their Own... DD is going to be a Rockford Peach, DH is going to be Jimmy Dugan, our dog (Dottie hehe) will be a hot dog, and I have a raglan shirt that I am going to put baseball laces on the belly. As long as the baby opens its legs, we will find out the sex and use either a pink/blue balloon (or something to indicate the sex) with a "Happy Halloween from the XXXX's... Player #2 to be named later" or something like that.
Keep the announcements coming! I love them, ladies!
