N just recently started to take her Christmas bear to bed with her. Never gave a shit about that bear before. Now it's like, WHERES MY BEAR WHERES MY BLANKIE GONNA DIE.
Also, fork. Not saying she's GOOD at it, but she's been using one for awhile.
M uses a fork. Sometimes she'll refuse to eat if she doesn't have one.
Spoon? No. Well, she just doesn't eat foods that would allow her to use a spoon. They give her dry cereal at school because she doesn't like cereal with milk. We don't do yogurt because I haven't found a kind that won't make her gassy as hell (lactose intolerant). Any suggestions your H can provide, graciest719? Been meaning to ask!
So. Yeah. My child will be 5 by the time she learns to use a spoon!
We don't allow spoon usage. I tried it once with yogurt and I'd be surprised if more than 5% made it into her stomach. 90% all over the rest of the place. Yikes.

N is in a phase where he won't let us help him eat. Like not even hold the yogurt container. So he's pretty good with fork and spoon, although the yogurt is a bit messy if he doesn't pay attention to which side of the spoon is up. Haha.
And we don't have any super attachment to a stuffed animal yet, but if he sees a burp cloth, he needs it in his bed with him, even if there's three in there already. Must collect all of the burp cloths.
I'm so tired. I have got to get to bed before midnight tonight. I've got game night at 9 and then I'm hoping to shut down and binge watch some DVR in bed. I've been so go go go that I am going to get sick if I don't get any sleep.
My H and I went out for our anniversary dinner last night and it was SO nice to get out for a couple of hours, just the two of us. We don't do hat nearly enough.
1 day my mom and I were out to eat e was double fishing a fork in 1 hand spoon in the other eating applesauce. Her fork was supposed to be for the hot dog. She will hold it and use her hands still as well.

malvo, I eat a lot of coconut yogurt because yummy. Maybe try that? Lactose is milk sugar so it's in all milk products. Do they make Lactaid yogurt?
Jo has mastered the fork. She is really good using it as a fork, not just a pronged spoon anymore lol. She is not really attached to a specific item, but she has to have her flamingo and her dolly in her crib before she goes to sleep. Fun fact-the dolly she likes was mine from when I was a baby!
Work flow today. I was a guest consultant last night in a friends LLR VIP group and it was really fun!
graciest719 Not sure on the Lactaid yogurt. It looks like it used to be a product, but it's no longer listed on their website as something they offer. Too much regular milk makes her so cranky and you can tell she's uncomfortable. It was the same thing with regular formula. We had to stick with the gentle stuff. Maybe I should just call our store and ask to speak with someone in dairy.
malvo when A was still having milk protein issues she LOVED coconut milk yogurt. The so delicious kind to be exact.
Also, another milk free item she loves. 1/2 banana, 1 egg, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Mash it all together and cook like a pancake. She still loves that even though she can have milk now!

Oooooo! That sounds interesting. I can't get her to eat eggs, but maybe this is a way to sneak it in! Perhaps we'll try it for breakfast tomorrow.

A won't eat eggs any other way either. Let me know what she thinks!

We're also at the point where D gets SO mad if you don't give him a knife and a fork, so he's pretty good using the fork and the spoon. He has come up with a technique that if he can't stab something and keep it on the fork he will squish whatever it is so that it's stuck between the prongs of the fork. His brain is fascinating. He is obsessed with his nighttime binkys but I try my best to hide them until bedtime.
He's not officially 18 months until a week from now, but we enticed him to stand on the scale and he was 27.2lbs whyyyy am I not more muscular and fit?!?

P has mastered using a spoon. I never taught him because i didnt want to deal with the mess, then one day he stole my spoon and used it perfectly. Daycare is to thank for that! But he has no experience with a fork.
This time tomorrow ill be with H!!! Im so freaking anxious and sick to my stomach. My heart wont stop pounding. God, youd think i was about to walk down the isle or something. WHY ISNT IT TOMORROW YET

Also my boss is wearing a skirt today that looks similar to a Madison. I asked her if it was LLR and she said she made it. She put ideas in my head. I dont even sew, but you know me and DIYs. My brain is running 0 to 60 with the idea... thinking i might try to make a cute halloween skirt as a test run. We shall see.
I left early today. We met with Wegmans because they are interested in carrying PA wines now that it's allowed by law. So it was half awkward, half interesting. It was like a job interview.
portuguesemamamalvo @megaugust10 you might be able to get some soon!!! Lucky you!!! If you even want some!! Lol

ladymike - If you could build a Wegmans here that'd be awesome. Then I could buy your wine. Haha. We need one badly, but we have a fancy grocery store that's trying to be Wegmans and failing

Almost done packing, gotta run to the store to buy bottles because i realised traveling with Take and Toss sippy cups will probably end in a big mess. Also bulky. Damnit, whyd i trash all our bottles?
Anyways, idk how im gonna sleep tonight! Whats everyone up to?
