I can't figure out a napping schedule. I actually got DD to take several naps yesterday, but then she ended up sleeping most of the day and poorly last night. And when I put her down for a nap after like 3pm she does her long sleep stretch then instead of at night, but if she's sleeping that long she must be tired and I don't want to keep her up for hours.

Have you tried letting her sleep at those times but waking for feeds at 2.5-3 hours so she can't do her long stretch? No need to keep her up for hours: 45-60 minutes at a time maybe? Less or more based on yawns and getting less active.
((Hugs)). Naps really do appear by 3-4 months if they aren't around now. Non-nappers are rough!

If DD3 weren't generally so happy I would swear she had reflux or an intolerance. Wet burps, screaming because of spit up when I put her to nap, screMing while silent reflux one when awake (if the spit up comes out she is much less bothered), excessive hiccups, etc. But she can do quite long sleep stretches and plays happily a lot. So I think we just have to ride out the sleep disruptions and occasional screams, right? WWA16D? Pedi only said if I see blood I her stools along with the mucous to cut dairy, and she has no blood nor is she as fussy as an intolerance baby is.

I tried to only have her awake for about an hour before starting the nap process. I did wake her up after 3 hours from her afternoon nap but it was like she had started nighttime sleeping and she didn't want to wake up. I want her to take naps but I don't want her to think bedtime is 3-4 pm. She's so content when she's awake that this pattern is really not making me want to push naps even though I know they are important for her.

All the sleepy babies are too cute! Ds2 is currently passed out in the rock n play - he's been there about an hour and a half! All week he's been waking up after napping for about 45 min (and then needing to be rocked, held, etc) so this long stretch without my intervention is very nice.
joy, ds2 has white heads all over his nose. I may or may not pick it them sometimes. So hard to restrain myself.

Cradle cap is my OCD issue. I just have to get rid of it!
DD slept 7 hours last night. I spent 4 of those cleaning and doing laundry. Seriously kicking myself for that. I stayed up till 11 when she usually wakes up but she skipped that feed and slept till the 2 am fed. How much you want to bet she won't do it again tonight :,(
Good news is I'm going on a date night tomorrow. I can not wait!!! We are seeing a play. I don't care if the babysitter calls us home in the middle of it. Just the fact that I can see a play makes me happy . I love living in a city again

Poof! Today on Candid Camera: my babies laying side by side in a puddle of pee after both repeatedly peed and pooped on their clothes, the changing table, the floor, each other, and the bathtub.
My afternoon was hilariously disgusting.
ETA: PDQ. I suppose I should poof this later so there's not a naked picture of my kids all over the internet...

My husband is seriously pissing me off. He's in the nursery trying to give him a bottle for the second time ever so he'll be used to it for daycare. Baby is screaming his face off and husband just keeps jamming it in his mouth. I'm like babe stop, you have to go slow and calm him down. And he's like "no he needs to just fucking eat or starve". I'm like you need to calm him down because clearly he's not going to eat it like that! And husband says I'm not going to baby him. Like he doesn't understand that this is a B-A-B-Y. You can't treat him like a 5 year old....
pttomato I was going to suggest same thing as gratefulgirl with waking to eat. I don't let DS (and did the same with DD) go more than 3 hours between feeds during the day. With DD she got a bottle every 3 hours up until I started to phase bottles out, regardless if she cried out to eat.
gratefulgirl is mucous in stools a sign of diary intolerance. The past two days I've noticed DS stools were more mucousy. He also shows signs of silent reflux but is usually pretty content as long as I don't allow him to over feed. I was going to bring it all up at the 1 month pedi visit.
joy I was so bothered when DD had baby acne, she also lost all the hair on the top of her head so she looked like an old man (had hair around the back).
hannahbear yes I watch Team Mom and can't stand Farrah. She's awful!
spicysalmonroll ugh why are husbands so impatient?! I have to remind DH that DD is not even 2 so you can't discipline her like she's 12.

Tomorrow is my first time home alone all day with both girls. My mom was coming over when dh would go to work but they lifted my weight restrictions so I told her she didn't have to. Hopefully I can manage lol

Good luck! As with most things, I find it much easier to manage when I have a plan.
