Dh got up with lo this morning and let me sleep in. I'm so thankful he did, because I was up at 2 and 6 putting eye drops in. We were supposed to go to a football game with the IL'S today, but now I'm staying home with lo and dh is bringing a friend in my place. Maybe I'll take lo for a bike ride today. Hope all you ladies have a nice Saturday!

ashlantic I was up putting drops in my eye too. But then I couldn't fall back asleep. I was up 1-3am & woke up dh to talk with and that woke leo up. Bad mommy. I let them sleep.
Feel better and too bad you're missing out on the game. :/
How my husband ate cereal twice and didn't realize the milk was bad is beyond me. I told him last weekend it was tasting funny but not sure. He said it was fine and even had some last night. I serve myself a nice bowl of cereal just now, take a big spoonful and spew it out into the sink. Luckily I was standing right next to it. Yuk.
Eww. This was a while ago but - My dad gave LO a sippy cup, and the liquid didn't look quite right. Turned out to be a 3 day old milk sippy, it separated, and she's drinking away. I almost threw up. Thank goodness I caught it.

Thanks! Are you on the every 4 hours drops regimen too?

The first day it was every 2 hrs. Then as needed. By the 3rd day my eye looked better but still dry/irritated. My follow up went fine. The eye still sees blurry but that could be the pregnancy. Buuuut dh's eye looks red today. As long as leo doesn't get it's good.

This kid and his faces. ❤ He's been in a really good mood, which is always a bonus when I'm on my own all day with him. We went for a bike ride and it felt so nice and cool out. Hopefully fall is here to stay!
littlelion ohhhh no. Hopefully YH and Leo don't get it. I have to do drops every 4 hours for a week. I'm quickly approaching the 24 hour mark on the antibiotic drops, which is when the doc said I wouldn't be contagious anymore. So here's hoping lo (and my right eye, since I only had it in one) escape it. kcrus how's your ds doing? I hope you guys are having a nice quiet weekend!
ashlantic bummer about your eye! Hate pink eye. Just left the memorial service for my mentor- it was like old home week. I saw people I hadn't seen in years and it was really good. In fact, it was standing room only! What a life lived. I feel really lucky I knew her.
I know a bunch of our boys have gotten haircuts. But have any of the girls gotten haircuts???
No. Nope. Nuh-uh. I can barely make a ponytail with her hair now. It's probably not going to happen for a very long time. I get anxiety getting my hair cut once a year from a bad experience. I'm going to need lots of support when she gets it cut for the first time.

WTH. I had bad milk again. I slept thru lunch and we have dinner plans. So I decide cereal for a snack. Using leo's milk. Yesterday it was my fat free lactaid. No wonder he hasn't been drinking much milk these last couple days. It was so gross I actually did gag. And neither milk was past its expiration date. >:/

ourcrazynavylife I've debated about trimming her bangs, too. She just has one long spot (it's the only long part of her hair). I think I will keep brushing it to the side until the rest of the hair merits a cut.

I have lovely randoms this weekend, huh.
Is something up with your fridge?
Hmmm I don't think so. The oj seemed fine. I'll have dh take a look later tonight.

F has a ton of hair and we haven't cut it yet. When it was at the stage of being in her eyes my MIL asked if we were going to, but we decided to pin it back until it grew. Now I can put it in pig tails or a pony and it doesn't get in her eyes.
ashlantic ugh I'm sorry about the pink eye! Raspberry picking sounds awesome. littlelion Leo still won't really pay attention to tv- maybe 5-10 minutes here or there, throughout the day... He likes the baby Einstein animal shows and occasionally Sesame Street or Thomas! I try to limit but some days Elmo gets the through! megpie5 that sounds awful. I'm sorry. I don't teach above age 7 because the thought of that just terrifies me! You're a rockstar! ourcrazynavylife I am super impressed that she's allowing the wig and costume. Leo will not wear any kind of costume! kcrus you seriously made me LOL. My fucks are already heading out the window and I only have one LO! raven indoor climbing class?!? I think I need that for this guy. He just climbs coffee tables, shelves, couches....
We went apple picking today! We had a blast. LO hates messes and things on the floor/ground so when we got off the train to the orchard he saw the apples everywhere on the ground and screamed "oh no!" And tried to pick up as many as he could. It was pretty hilarious.

sgio7485 at least he tried cleaning them up. When we went to the apple orchard, lo saw all the apples on the ground and was like "Ooh, easy to reach apples!" and tried to eat them. Blech! ourcrazynavylife I busted all our fall stuff out at the beginning of September. littlelion ugh, hope something's not wrong with your fridge. That is some bad luck!!

Lo loves the bike seat we got a couple weeks ago. He asks for it all the time. He's not letting me be lazy, that's for sure! My ass and thighs better look amazing after all this bike riding. Dh made butternut squash lasagna tonight. So so good. The temps finally feel fall-like so I put some of my favorite fall meals in the meal plan this week.
