Thumb sucking and hair twirling. That's what's going on. I've never had either.... Are these nervous tics or normalish behavior in a 4 month old? I mean I guess thumb sucking is pretty common, but the twirling of hair? I've never seen a baby do this.

Thumb chewing/sucking is definitely a thing for us. Since none of the munchkins have hair long enough to twirl I can't comment on that, but they do like playing with my hair.

Baby I does both. Well, not exactly twirling but he reaches up and feels his fuzzy little head. Probably a sensory or self soothing thing (in my non expert opinion)

w does it mostly when sucking her thumb. Don't get me wrong, it's actually adorable, I'm just wondering if she is stressed out or something
