I'm currently not happy AF came early. The only good news is I was not as PMSy as I have been the last 3 months. But currently not so excited about the tummy feelings right now. Ugh.

Currently laying in bed watching Sesame Street hoping we don't have to get out of bed yet. J woke up an hour early this morning, but is happy sitting her watching, eating a pouch, and drinking a milk. Hoping to find something fun to do today, we haven't left the house much this past week.
V is getting sick. He has a pathetic cough and a runny nose and he's SO FUSSY. He had to sleep attached to me last night so we're all exhausted today. We had such a nice illness hiatus after his tube surgery and the summer off from daycare.
poor V! I hope he gets well soon! That little guy has has enough illness!

Also lacking in the enthusiasm department today. It's Monday, raining, and DS was just a cranky, whining disaster this morning. Really hoping things are looking sunnier for everyone later today.
We have our hike it baby walk this morning and then we are going grocery shopping. I need to throw dinner in the crockpot before we go; I've been forgetting to do that the last few crock pot meals I've planned!
I'm scared to say this for fear of jinxing it but I think lo might finally be on the mend. Still teething like crazy so the diapers are a mess but no more fever and is sleeping well. We're going to try daycare today. I'm hoping school will be calm.
Debate tonight. Woof. Anyone else watching out of obligation? The confrontation in these things makes me so uncomfortable and I already know who I'm voting for but you know, water cooler talk and all that...

I would watch if it wasn't on so late. Will just have to settle for highlights tomorrow. I can pretty much predict how it is going to go anyway.

No nap here yesterday, coupled with the 4 am wake up Sunday morning, made for a very long day. We dropped him off at my parents house and went out to dinner for our anniversary that was last week. H let a bee in the house since shutting a door while chasing a toddler apparently is impossible, and I finally was able to shoo it back outside where it belongs.
Possibly taking J to a park or something today. He needs to get out and run around. We also need to go buy milk and bread at some point today.
Waiting as patiently as I can to find out if I got the job I interviewed for last Friday. I should hear by the end of this week.

Morning ladies. I hardly slept last night. It is going to be 109 degrees here today. Will likely try to watch the debate, but most likely have to turn it off before I throw the remote at the TV.

Morning Ladies!
The weekend was super busy trying to de-clutter and unpack. Friday I missed my facial appointment because amidst unpacking I just forgot. Luckily they called me and were able to get me in later in the day. Saturday we had a super successful garage sale. I'm pretty sure Gianna thought it was a party and she loved it. Yesterday we tried to do some organizing. The house is still a disaster of boxes and piles though.
Also, we're having a hell of a time trying to get someone to do our roof. My mom's friend's husband is a contractor did measurements last year and then my mom put it on hold because she couldn't afford it at the time. So he came to talk to us last week and someone was supposed to come do measurements again this weekend. They didn't show up. A different contractor came and did measurements last Monday. We haven't heard from him since. My H left messages with a couple other companies this weekend. Fingers crossed someone calls him back today. I definitely thought we'd have someone locked down by now and I'm super eager to get things started!

LO was such a cranky mess any time we were home this weekend, but she was fine while out. It was really frustrating, and then I noticed she cut one of her canines and it feels like at least another couple are on their way, so I felt bad for being so frustrated. I gave her some ibuprofen this morning, so hopefully she is doing well at the nanny's.
We will be watching the debate tonight, I am going to have to mentally (wine) prepare myself for it...

DH took LBB to see The Lion King yesterday and they both "dressed up." This means LBB wore his bow-tie. It also means he now wants to wear his bow-tie every day.
Today's outfit? Blue and yellow striped polo shirt with bow tie Red shorts Iron man socks Checkered Vans
I'm cleaning the house. Then taking DD to the park. I just vacuumed up the biggest spider I've seen since my trip to Bali. Holy shit. It was almost 4 inches wide. I'll spare you the scary photo. Yesterday we went to a fun birthday party at a park and they had a nature walk treasure hunt. We found everything but the acorn
billyhorrible, thanks to LBB, I now have new goals in how I dress myself. That’s so stinking adorable. Please make sure to PIP on HDBD for us all to enjoy. musicfrk2002, happy belated anniversary! Also, your boob sweat comment may be a highlight of my day.
AF showed up 9 days late. I POAS 4 times last week just to make sure they weren’t positive. I’d finally just thought I’d skipped a month even though I’ve never skipped outside of pregnancy and PP.
Currently avoiding lesson planning. I didn’t do any on Thursday meaning I have to do it all now. Boo. I think I’m supposed to give tests to at least 4 classes this week. Meaning I have to grade actual papers.
Instead, I’m going to paint my nails because I’m responsible.

Omg billyhorrible I bet he is the best dressed at daycare! So cute:)
@poppyc8 what a fun idea! Sorry about the spider- we had a giant one in the garage this weekend. There was a VERY audible crack when DH smashed it. ::shudder::

DD is also sick- runny nose, congested, and generally miserable. This is putting a total wrench into sleep training which I am not thrilled about.
I worked a few hours this morning. I had a very elderly woman who had fallen and sprained her ankle. So, she climbed into her car, drove to Taco Bell, then drove herself to the valet entrance of the ER, "because I knew I wouldn't get a decent meal in that place!". I almost died laughing.
I thought so too! They used those egg cartons and put pictures of what you needed to find on top of each egg section. then everyone that participated got a prize😀
