I mean we have tons to talk about. It's under 80 degrees. The debate. Pumpkin spice late, Halloween Oreos, the potential government shut down, the fact that my coworker just gave me candy and said I was getting grouchy and needed more sweets.
I'm super sad that I fell asleep before the debates last night. I read a good amount of the transcript this morning with the fact checker notes, but didn't get through all of it.

1) This weather is the best. 2) The debate sucked. Mostly because Trump is the worst thing to happen to humanity in the last like five decades. 3) PSL are fine. I'll have a few before the end of the year. I'm not in love with them. 4) Halloween Oreo's probably taste exactly like regular Oreo's but with orange dye. 5) What government shut down? Why I haven't I heard about this? Is it because it's so normal that it doesn't get talked about anymore? 6) Is it that end of pregnancy grouchiness?

I'm also not aware of government shutdown-inform me! Also the debates must have stuck with me bc I had a dream that Hillary and Chelsea came over to my house for dinner lol. Thank god trump did not show up!
We did our basement carpet with Home Depot. I ordered a light sand and they put in a much darker tan. H didn't even notice. I got home and was like, this is our order and they admitted what they brought was not the color on the order and they changed it out...
But other than that- it was cheap installation. So it worked.

I worked during the debates, but really did I miss much? No, I am more amused by the memes and other people comments.
Apparently my right eye needs special lenses, costing me extra $$. I get my glasses on the cheep, I know I will break them, I will lose them, I constantly take them on and off, If I didn't have an eye phobia I would switch to contacts, but those are even pricey with my double astigmatism in my right eye.
That's about everything, I need a nap as always..I am not a fan of pumpkin spice, there I said it.

bluerainfire, I can do very little pumpkin spice anymore. I used to love it, but not anymore. Have you ever purchased the insursance for glasses? It's usually about $30 and so worth it if you are prone to losing/breaking glasses.
chrispy1122 baguette was my first pick, but then I started to wonder if I should go with something more like taupe to help w/ dirt/stains.

mrscatfarmer13 that's a good point. Maybe bring home a couple samples and see what looks good? Are you going to paint too?
We need to replace our carpet, but we are going to wait until the kids are a little older, fully potty-trained, and more reliably wash their sticky hands. I wish we had asked for a carpet allowance when we bought our house because there are stains in a couple of the bedrooms.
