LO woke up with this rash yesterday on her neck, stomach, and inner thighs. I did put her in hand me down PJs the night before that I did not rewash before putting on her. DH says probably a reaction to the fabric/detergent? I can't think of any new foods that were introduced the night before. She is on an antibiotic but that would have been day 9 of taking it. It does not look any worse today and slightly better on her neck.
5 losses (2003, 2008, 03/12, 11/12, & 10/16) All RPL testing by several REs = all normal

IVF#1 Feb '15= BFP! U/S 04/01 = 6w5d, HR 125!, SCH measuring 2cm U/S 04/06 = 7w5d, HR 165!, SCH measuring 4cm NT scan = 13w2d, SCH no longer visible Anatomy scan = Team green . All looks great! Rainbow born on 11/22/15, team pink!
What antibiotic is she on? My DS broke out in a rash on day 8 of Augmentin. My pedi said the rash was due to the medicine. She said your body can develop a sensitivity/allergy to an antibiotic at any time during the course of treatment, and even for up to a month after. She also said it could last up to 6 weeks, since antibiotics stay in the system for awhile after the last dose. DS's rash went away within a week of stopping the med.
I'll attach a pic of his rash for reference, sorry if it's gigantic...
She's on amoxicillan. That rash looks similiar. Thanks for the info!

Actually that happened to me when I was on amoxicillin about five years ago. I'd been taking it for a week and broke out in hives all over my body. I now have to consider myself allergic to penicillin. Stop the antibotic and call the doctor.

Amox allergy is typically a rash. I've been told that it doesn't necessarily translate to a penicillin allergy if it's just the rash... But I've never had anything in the cillin family since having a reaction as a baby, because there are almost always alternatives (unless you get MRSA, then I've been told I'd be put on heavy antihistamines and watched like a hawk.). Anyway, I would talk to the pedi before giving another dose. Most likely they'll want to see the rash and switch the antibiotic because it's not worth the risk.

I don't know a whole lot about reactions to medications, but food allergies can manifest as rashes and hives so it's very possible that it's a reaction to the meds. Our allergist would call that a skin reaction vs a respiratory (anaphalaxic or however you spell it) reaction and those are "generally" more mild of a reaction.
