I fed E at 10 and he slept until almost 3. Then from 3-6. Solid night in this house. He's been a grump since 6, but whatever. It's raining this morning... I was going to go shopping before boob group, but no thanks. I don't want to be outside any more than I have to.
We had a decent night as well. Fed C at 8 and slept until almost 12, then again until about 4 but I was holding him, last stretch was until 6:30 back in the RnP. I think once he kicks this cold we will see improvement.
I also used the woombie last night. Like it so much better than the swaddleme
DS lasted on his floor on his own until 9pm, then he was waking every 45 minutes. At 1130 I brought him into my room and for the first time ever he slept in our bed. I don't know how people bed share, he was so squirmy and didn't sleep well. But at least he wasn't crying. My hips are on fire from having to snuggle him all night. I hope we haven't created a monster, I'm going to try and get him to nap in his bed today by himself. He won't even nap at daycare now.
On the upside, he pooped on his potty for the first time. And then proceeded to have 7 (and I am not exaggerating) accidents on the floor in the span of 15 minutes.
K fell asleep on my chest around 1am. I figured I'd let her snuggle there for a while and then move her to her PnP.
Yea... I fell asleep. For 3 and a half hours. So did K. While it was nice to get that much sleep, I really dislike falling asleep with her on me. I was reclined back in the chair with the boppy wedging her against me, so not much chance she would have fallen, but still.
Now we're waking H up for work, then we'll probably go back to sleep for a bit.

E slept really well last night especially considering all the trauma from yesterday. She only woke me twice and was up for the day at 7:30. We've been nursing nonstop this morning so I think her mouth is bothering her.
pismoduo, I've done the same thing in the rocker with the boppy before. I could never get the hang of co-sleeping though and some of the growth spurts were rough...
Yay for all the good nights! Nothing really new here - still PG and still at work. Going in for my next appointment tomorrow morning and hoping things get moving ASAP. I hope you all will still have me if LO turns out to be an O16 baby!

If H isn't in bed, I can put her between two pillows on his side and sleep. But both he and I roll around too much to co sleep with her. Plus we agreed that I wouldn't wake H up on nights that he has to work the next day unless I really need help. So getting back into bed is always sort of iffy, because if K isn't truly asleep when I put her down and go back to bed she'll wake up and I'll be in and out of bed.
When she gets a little bigger and can sit in her swing a little better (she's too small and gets all scrunched down in it) it'll be better because then I can at least put her in that and nap on the couch. It just seems like such a pain in the ass to carry her up the stairs just to have to carry her back down again if she starts fussing.

Same here. Hoping for something to happen anytime now...!

+1, though technically I'm due 10/02 SaveSave
Obviously to both of you! You're staying right here. ETA: and merryrissmas!
watermelonseed I have tears just thinking about packing up the clothes. C can still squeeze into a few newborn but mostly into 0-3. I can't bear to pack the clothes up yet.
I cried when I packed them up from DS1, now that C will probably be my last I think I will ball my eyes out. Maybe I can convince DH we should have 1 more ( in a few years!)

Yay to those who got good stretches of sleep last night!
@snuff9861, so sorry for the transition troubles. That's awesome he went on the potty though!
Labor vibes to y'all that are still pregnant. Come on babies!
We have our newborn/family photos this morning. We have to leave in an hour. I'm supposed to be getting ready but I'm nursing A instead. Hoping I can put him down to do my hair and makeup.
I just went through the 0-3 month clothes from DD1 and made a pile to donate, sell (stuff that was gifted still with tags that I still don't like. Lol), and some with really bad stains to throw away. The girls are both 9.5 pounds now and getting so long so I'm thinking we'll be out of newborn clothes in the next week or so. I can't believe how big they're getting!
Other than that, were just hanging at home today. I think I'll nap when all the girls nap. Hopefully everyone kicks these colds soon.
I'm with the other pregnant ladies, at work with nothing happening. Today's my due date, but I have little hope of a baby today. It's FIL's birthday so he's a little bummed.
We went to food truck Tuesday for dinner last night. The sandwich I had was so good I can't stop thinking about it today.

We're lucky since DD has spent so much time in our bed that she doesn't move much. DH used to sleep in the guest room too so she had more room. Hopefully the transition gets better for you! It's taken DD a while but we're finally at sleeping 3-4 nights all the way through in her own room. How old is your son?
And yay for pooping on the potty! We're only at peeing, but I'm not pushing too much right now with all the changes coming. You're taking on a lot at once, hang in there Mama.

Thanks! We're not pushing it but while I was cleaning up an accident he just went over to his potty and did his thing.

I slept terribly last night. Js nurse kept me up until 12:30 and his next feeding was at two. Poor baby was having a hard time last night too couldn't reach a deep sleep for very long so I kept waking up to him fussing. He's having a hard time nippleing this week he was taking as much as half a bottle at each feeding last week. Over the weekend and the last couple days his dropped down to 7 or less if he wakes enough to eat at all. I need caffeine.

They can't kick us out! 😝 They're stuck with us!
We would never!!! You ladies are stuck here with us no matter when the LOs arrive!!
Left baby W at home with the husband this morning and took the toddler to music class. She was a little more outgoing than she usually is in class and I managed to get up and down more easily than I expected for only being one week postpartum. I left an ounce of breast milk that I pumped to relieve some engorgement a couple days ago but the baby slept the whole time.

STM+... TTMA pacifiers.. we never used one with DS but it seems to really help calm E down and trigger her for naps. It would be nice not to struggle as much as I did initially with DS in that area. Plus, daycare would probably appreciate having something to help as well. If you used pacifiers with an older kid, were you able to restrict it just to naps or did it get used all the time? Night sleep is going well so far and I don't want to ruin that or have to add a pacifier to that routine if I can avoid it.

Basically, I'm scared of using pacifiers...
DS1 used a pacifier to sleep (nights and naps) until we sleep trained at 6 months. From what I remember he also used it a bit while awake but he has completely done with it at 6 months.

LT for hugs unringthebell. I hope her bili levels aren't too high and get lower by Friday.
jennybeans, I'm in new territory with pacifiers too since DS1 didn't like them. I was just talking to our photographer about this. She said she only gave it to her kids when they were really upset or sleeping, as opposed to if they made a little peep and giving it to them. She said she didn't have an issue getting rid of it.
briannea that's great that you took your DD to class. I bet she enjoyed the one on one time with you. I have DS enrolled in a toddler tumbling class that I was gonna have DH take him to but now I think we'll trade off so I get alone time with him.

jennybeans DD was given a pacifier before we'd even left the hospital. She wanted to suck all day every day. We took it from her around 6 months. She wasn't hugely dependent on it and we wanted to take it before it was an issue. She didn't even notice it was gone. I know a lot of people whose kids are dependent on them (one's about to turn 3)... I'm glad we aren't in that situation, but I can completely understand why you're hesitant. Do what you gotta do to get through! That's my outlook!
