I agree, I still don't understand why they said formula only..dumb
Anyhow, I pump on my way to work, 2-3 times at work and in the way home from work. I also pump once after he goes to bed already.
I do feel like daycare might be able to push an extra feeding if I ask them. I send 4 bottles and he rarely takes all 4. If I ask them to make sure he gets all 4 they can probably do it. He just takes long naps so he doesn't usually need it.
Yes for sure. I would do that. I'm sure that would make the difference.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the positive vibes. As I figured they couldn't tell me anything(this is normal protocol) so I will have to wait to see my doctor in a MONTH. Ugh. I may try to call next week to get the results.

ellesea definitely call to try to get early results. My husband stresses when he has to wait a week and a half so I can't imagine a month wait would be easy for you.

I definitely would call. A month is an eternity to have to wait 😔
Ridley stopped breathing again this afternoon. Only for a few seconds, and when I woke her up she was fine, but fuck if it wasn't just as scary. And I was just starting to be able to sleep again. If she keeps this up I'm never going to get any sleep.
I'm in bed with her now and I wish I could keep the lights on. It's going to be a long night.
@led, that's so scary. I think I would take your MIL's offer and get the monitor. You may not sleep well with the connection lost alarms but as it is you won't want to sleep anyway.

I am so sorry @led. It really is a terrifying experience. I hated when the alarms went off and the girls really weren't breathing instead of it being a false read. Are you going to bring it up with her pediatrician?

In the past two days we've had four packages delivered to the house. They were all things I got for MH and the kids. I thought I had bought myself something but I guess I took it out of the shopping cart to save money. I need to do a better job of taking care of myself.

fishbulb I do the same thing. I have been eyeing a $45 dollar dress for the winter/holiday and just keep not buying it to save money, but keep buying for my kids and know what I am buying for my husband.

I'm so sorry! How scary! You could also look into the Angel Care Monitors. That's what we have. It has a sensor pad that is placed under the mattress so you don't have to worry about placing it on her foot and her kicking it off. It definitely has given me a peace of mind. Only once has the alarms gone off and it was just a false reading. Scared the crap out of me though!

Yeah. I sent a message to her after it happened. I should hear back tomorrow morning.

The movement sensors won't work because we bed share. So the Owlet is pretty much our only choice.

Gotcha! I would definitely go with the Owlet then 😉
After fighting sleep DS ended up giving me one of his longest stretches ever and I actually slept for most of it! I usually only get 3-4 hour stretches most nights (since the regression started) so I feel like a new person.

That's awesome! So glad you were able to sleep through it.

@led, I'm so sorry!! I don't know if it helps, but please know that in the hospital, when a baby is on a monitor for breathing and heart rate and oxygen, the "apnea" alarm doesn't beep until a baby has not taken a breath for 15-20seconds because it is normal for babies to take a longer pause here and there. I don't know if it's comforting or not. The owlet is a good option and I would buy it also after these scares. I hope this is the last of it!!!

cuppycakes, I could get some help yes. H offered to hire an at home babysitter so I could work (while at home....so like a mom's helper) or MIL would help, I could always drop her off....but again MIL is driving me batty and while its an option I am to sure its the best one. I may cave and hire a once or twice a week helper.
