I'd take Tylenol, @osw. I know you're reluctant to take it, but it really is one of the safer medicines to take while pregnant. Honey lemon and tea are also really effective. Sorry you are sick!
I showed my son the u/s pictures of his brother/sister from yesterday and he said "Monkey! Ooh ooh aah aah." Let's hope he's not a prodigy u/s reader because I'm really hoping this one is human. 😉

This move is going to be the death of me. It's probably a good thing I can't drink. Problem 363,937,938 is that the shitters haven't worked since Monday. I also haven't been able to do laundry.
I have court about the dogs tomorrow. Think happy thoughts for us.

UO: I just don't see the appeal in the Housewives shows.
Randoms: I'm so tired today. I woke up around 2 AM and it took forever to get back to sleep. I don't know how I'm going to get through the work day plus going out to dinner/planning my friend's baby shower this evening.

Whenever I talk about DD's "baby brother or sister" she corrects me that it will most certainly be her baby SISTER. Girlfriend is going to be in for a shock if it's a boy.

@osw I would def pick up some lozenges or spray. I'm a big fan of ricolla drops if you don't want any mediciney ones. And I swear by honey + tea. There's actually a throat comfort tea by yogi that I love. I'd just double check the ingredients

This probably isn't an UO because I'm sure others feel the same way. But I fucking hate having the share my food with my toddler. Like eat your own damn food kid.

ourcrazynavylife, if I eat breakfast before DD gets up and she sees my empty plate, she will have a total meltdown saying, "I WANNA EAT MAMA'S FOOOOOOD!" Yes, child. That's why I ate it quickly before releasing you from your crib.

Same deal over here. We were team green for #1 but I think we'll be finding out this time so we can prep the three year old on any possible disappointments.

Ugh, I really want to be team green this time, but this may be an important factor in making the decision when we get closer to the anatomy scan...
I hate the holidays in general. I never did until MIL... She must have us for every holiday and do all *her* traditions. No, sorry, you don't get us for every holiday. You get Christmas or thanksgiving. My family gets the other. She legit starts crying every time we tell her only one holiday and starts manipulating my H into giving in so she can spend every holiday with us. It's not working this year. She's a holiday only Catholic and I don't put up with that crap
I don't understand the adding people from high school thing on FB. I keep getting requests from people I knew in high school and I'm all "we haven't talked in 9 years since we graduated. You didn't talk to me in HS. Why the hell are you adding me?"

hpnegirl I just don't like the pressure of gift giving. And I feel like that's all the holiday is about now. It causes me anxiety to open presents in front of people.
This is why I like Thanksgiving the best. It's all the fun stuff about Christmas with none of the present pressure.
