I'm hanging out with my mom today because my hubs is at a football game with my dad. My parents have been helping me out a lot with my munchkin because I feel so terribly nauseous all of the time and I've had a couple of times when it's been hard to function. Any of you STM's having a harder time with sickness the second time around?

Yes. Kellymom says that breastfeeding often prevents ms. Not for me, apparently!

Definitely having a harder time, not because I feel worse (I feel about the same) but because I have to be functioning enough to take care of another human being this time around.

How old is your little one and boy or girl? Good job BF-Ing while pregnant. I can't imagine the exhaustion and hunger!

Me either! This pregnancy has been so much worse than my first. I too thought breastfeeding would help the ms. If that's truly the case I can't imagine how much worse I would feel if I wasn't b'fing!!
Not much going on here, it's rainy and I love it. We watched the Irish Football final this morning and now G is down for her nap. I'm going to nap too while my husband hits the gym. I haven't worked out once since I hit 5/6 weeks. I'm really hoping I get the energy to start up again in the next few weeks.
May hit a pumpkin patch this weekend or head out for a hike (a very easy hike) tomorrow, depending on weather.

She was one in August. I actually can't imagine having to take care of her without bf right now; it's the only time she lets me parent from a seated position! Plus no whining while the boob is in her mouth.
Morning. I didn't check in yesterday because I had my hands full with a feverish, sad baby. He also keeps complaining about his teeth, so I'm confused. All we've got left are the two year molars, which have got to hurt. Hope things are less crazy for you now, iqeb!

My first two pregnancies were pretty easy for morning sickness. This one has been sooo bad. I have been so sick. And way more emotional. I did go to the hospital on tuesday to get fluids and felt like a million bucks afterword. I hope you feel better soon this sucks.

mosdub no worries. I wasn't expecting a big turnout anyways. But I'm having a online popup later this month so that'll be better since all my friends/family are out of state.
And DH drank the cider mimosas lol. He said they were good.
