I spent more money than i should have today, after shoe shopping we went to target. You all know how that goes. I got P two new toy bins (star wars) because his are over flowing and we ran out of space for his books, too. Also got him a pillow (star wars). See im a manipulative shopper. H cant say no to Star Wars, haha. Then i got 2 shirts from the clearance rack for myself. But all in all, ive been tight with money for 2 months, so i dont feel terrible. I got it out and ill chill now
When P woke up from his nap earlier he had bloody discharge in his right ear. I was really hoping he just scratched himself but i cleaned his ear and it was definitely discharge. Google suggests a ruptured/perforated ear drum :/ besides his poor sleep he wasnt in any obvious pain so im keeping a close eye on him. So far no more discharge...we'll see how it looks in the AM. I cant get out of work tomorrow so im going to make an evening appt.
I cannot read "The Little Engine that Could" anymore. She can't make me.
F has had me singing "the wheels on the bus" over and over and over and over...
She especially likes: "the mama on the bus goes sh sh sh..." Because she likes to say it and put her finger to her lips. Oh, and I HAVE to do the hand gestures with the lyrics.
ruemorgan good for you and shopping! I tried a fun target run earlier but f lost her shit. A lady even helped me run after her at one point and caught her for me on the next aisle. So, that trip ended early! Re: ears, f has had that before. But, it was usually with a bad infection. You know how your nose can get bloody snot when pretty sick? Fx it was a fluke!

Aw, that's fun and adorable!
I feel you on it getting old, though. M likes "Row Row Row Your Boat." They do it at DC. She holds my hands and pulls back and forth (for the rowing motion) while prompting me with "Row Row Row Row Row." I sang that about 50 times today. I even Googled it to see if there are additional lyrics (spoiler: there isn't).
rvamama The bloody snot comparison makes a lot of sense. A ruptured eardrum doesnt seem likely to me..i just imagine that being far more painful than he appears to let on.

malvo - The books over and over before bed get me every time. I can't say no though. He's only little once ðŸ˜
ruemorgan - Teach me your ways! I love them both!! And I hope P's ear is ok! That sounds awful.
rvamama - You mean like yesterday before nap when H was 'body slamming' (gently going through the motions) N onto the couch and tickling him? I know exactly what you mean! And N loves the shh shh shh.
