LydiaDeetz no BTDT experience, but I've been looking into mini cribs that later convert to twin beds since it looks like we'll be putting 3 cribs in one room. There are some really inexpensive ones (~$120/130)
LydiaDeetz I will tell her- she was my doc for my first so she already knows I do this and I usually get the stern look of a mother who knows you already know you were naughty but it wasn't a bad enough crime to get truly scolded. DH and I were considering having a little fun this time and waiting to say anything until the a/s and then just repeating over and over "as long as it's not twins, as long as it's not twins!"
Week/Team/Fruit: 18 weeks/sweet potato di/di sex unknown.

GTKY: Do you have any easy, go-to weekday meals that you prepare? Recipe to share? I love making this recipe - and we eat it with brown rice and veggies.

LydiaDeetz ours are in the RNPs or a shared pack and play. Our pack and play has an attached bassinet so one went in there and the other laid in the open area. Like this without the changing area attached.
Although they just released a twin version.
fightersince83 my husband has celiacs and we used to buy gluten free flour that was amazing but I think she went out of business. I need to try some of the others out there, King Arthur isn't bad. I've found that baking my own breads is the only way to get really good baked goods that are GF.
LydiaDeetz, ours are 3.5 months old and are still in their rock 'n plays next to our bed. I haven't bit the bullet on transitioning to the crib yet because they've been sleeping through the night since 2 months and I'm afraid to ruin a good thing. Anyway, when we transition them here soon, I'm just going to put them in their separate cribs.
housecarder, I have a PnP w twin bassinet and mine never slept in it, they could feel each other's movements. +1 on the RnPs next to my bed. We had ones with the auto rock feature, which I used sparingly, but saved my LIFE when DH went out of town for work. pbandj714, I transitioned naps around 5m and overnight just before 6m.
fightersince83, I called my OB when I found out and he immediately referred me to the MFM. I saw the MFM group exclusively, but my c section was performed by the OB on call. Whom I had never met. Which was fine for me but I didn't know until like 2 weeks before delivery that would happen- my scheduled cs would have been with the MFM but since I was a Sunday emergency... my MFM was in the building but because my cs was considered low risk she was not in the OR.
housecarder My LOs lasted about three weeks in the double bassinet. The middle sags and any movement from one can disturb the other, like picking up or putting down a baby. Everyone did better when we moved them to their cribs in their own room around three weeks.

The one I posted is separate bassinets that are removable, not the shared bottom Grace one. I heard the Graco sags so never bothered with it.

I had my second u/s today. I thought I was 2 days shy of 8 weeks but the RE said I'm 8 weeks today. Lol, pregnancy brain doesn't even let me count right?! Anyway, all the babies looked strong. All measuring approximately the same size as the others and all with heart beats. He said I'll see him in 2 weeks but wants me to get in touch with my OB and see the MFM ASAP. I put in the call as I was leaving the RE so hopefully I'll get a call back from the OB
LydiaDeetz, ours are 2.5 months and share a crib that we have beside our bed. We have 2 smaller cribs (60cm x120) so for now we use the one and then they both fit in their room when we move them in there. However with the smaller cribs my big boy is already too long to sleep horizontally. So he sleeps.at an angle. Soon I will put each one vertically at each end. We used the crib in our room because I am too cheep to buy another bed for them to use for just a half year or so. And the crib fits so why not!

We use the Graco one and have never had any problems with it!
