The first time I did a dream feed lo didn't wake up to eat again until 6!!! But the following dream feeds resulted in earlier and earlier wake ups so I stopped because I didn't want him to get in the habit and start waking on his own at 11 to eat. But I think if I want any chance of having one wake up overnight I'll have to try to dream feed again because he's going to need to eat twice at night for awhile.
Okay. Final positive thoughts for today. Thanks for letting me PW today. I knew if I didn't keep posting I wouldn't hold myself accountable and today was one of those days it would have been too easy to spiral downward all day long and end up having a really crappy day. But as it stands it was a pretty good one! It's all in the perspective, I guess! 😊
8:00 hour- feeling good about having Cam's bottles prepped for tomorrow. One less thing to add to hectic mornings! 9:00- enjoyed some relaxation alone before heading to bed. That doesn't happen very often! I feel rejuvenated. Which doesn't happen much at all through the week!
The kids and I all have the same cold. I'm hoping it skips MH. Not because I'm a thoughtful loving wide, but because nothing's worse than being sick yourself and your partner is being useless because he has a man cold.
My positive for the day is I made it home. I was supposed to leave my sisters at 715 well we didn't wake up till 7 I hauled out of there and made it to the airport in time for my flight still though. I had a layover in DC and got my flight mixed up and tried boarding the wrong one. Problem with that was my actual flight had left 15 min prior 😖 they were able to get me on that next flight but then we sat on the runway for almost 2 hours ..... it was horrible I was in a middle seat between two men. When I finally made it to Dallas at 5 (I was originally supposed to be here at 2) I realized my suitcase wasn't on my flight cause I took the wrong one! So I had to go to a totally different terminal to get my bag! Ugh anyways we made it safely and that's all that truly matters! Ryker smiled SO big when he saw DH it made my heart explode a little. I sure did miss him!
Chatting with the soon to be new neighbors (the ones who spent all of August doing construction still haven't moved in!) when suddenly there's a commotion..
And that commotion would be my daughter, hopping down the driveway, buck neked screaming "the rabbit is coming!!! The naked rabbit is coming!!"
