Starting spam at 6 AM because I've been having contractions since about 4 ish am. They are about 10 min apart and lasting 30 seconds ish. Think my water may have broken at 4 ish (just a trickle) because suddenly I started having trouble controlling my bladder where I hadn't had any issues all pregnancy. However, when that happened I hadn't had any contractions yet. I think I'm going to give up on sleep and work from his me for the next hour or two and get done a couple of things I hadn't quite gotten to due to my stint in L&D yesterday.

Fxed it's the real deal! I'm jealous. My baby will probably stay in here until she's 30. She even had the audacity to turn transverse yesterday. She's back head-down now, but it scared the crap out of me.
I think I need a nap before my appointment today. Getting induced starting tomorrow night. I've hit my pregnancy breaking point and 40 weeks and 6 days is it.
Morning ladies, probably a drive by post early this morning while I'm just sort of resting. Roslin was born yesterday via c-section after approaching three days in the hospital trying to induce. I'll try to post a more in depth labor story at some point.
I think I'm recovering really well, the nurses sound very encouraging about how I'm doing. Roslin is perfect and DH has been taking great care of her since I can't do much from my hospital bed. She spent the night in the nursery because we both desperately needed sleep, especially DH who had practically nothing to sleep on in my delivery room.
DH just left for work. I've been so excited to sleep in today yet I'm wide awake. I don't want to be awake.
Hey question: I just realized I never got my flu/tDap vaccine. Is it too late to do it now?
I did not get mine prior to delivery and they offered it to me while I was admitted. I don't believe in the flu shot but, I was given tdap while in recovery.

The delivery and recovery rooms have no sleep space at all! My poor DH, so uncomfortable while in the delivery room brought an air mattress for the first night in recovery. I had an easy labor so I let DH stay the night at home our second night. Tell your DH to hang on, you will be home soon enough.
Up early, so I've been awakw for quite awhile. 4 am seems to be the time right now.
TMI alert: DH thought morning sex would be a good idea today and I obliged. Although, it hasn't been that awkward since we were dating. I think hearing that I am in no way, shape, or form close to starting labor on my own and I'm at 40 +6 may have prompted him a bit. Whatever, I'll take it. And the fact that he had to take a later ferry in to work because of it at least boosted my spirits a bit.
Last night we celebrated our 9 years together anniversary at my favorite restaurant on island. I'm going to make dong po pork for Valentine's and have to get some pork belly. This also works because I'm going to stock up on a couple of days worth of pineapple since even if it gets nothing moving, it's an excuse to eat pineapple.
Sending off my application for my international drivers permit. I asked DH to fill out the applications at work and then print them out, but he just printed the blank copies. Such tiny little boxes and my handwriting is crap (still better than his). Hopefully I didn't mess anything up keeping us from getting these soon.
I'm disappointed that they cycled through the love tit tags so quickly in the beginning. I think they should have let each one have at least 24 hours because now I feel like the tags are getting old even when they've only been up for a day.

I'm in the kinda having contractions but they are not consistent boat. I was up for a few hours last night with sporadic contractions and hellacious heartburn. I'm at work now but they are encouraging me to leave so that I can get some rest just in case this is the real deal. I may take them up on that.
I am so out of patience. I don't want to work this morning and I don't want to be pregnant any more either. I just want to hold my snuggly baby. If someone tells me one more time to enjoy this time with my hands free or no responsibilities or night of free sleep (haha) I might punch someone.
Has anyone else had days where it's torture to sit down? Apparently there are appendages in my ribs, and to sit makes it awful. Standing for 8 hours at school doesn't sound like fun either, especially since I've been doing most of my work from my rolly chair. I predict a 3' baby, if doc says his head is "way down there" and all his other parts are choking me!
On the plus side, the 90 minutes I slept between each potty break last night was some of the best sleep I've had in a long time. The other plus is that we have winter break starting tomorrow. AND possible snow at the first of next week, which in Georgia could mean we're shut down all week. Fingers crossed.

Happy Thursday Ladies. 38 week appt today. Lots of cramping last night. LO was also moving all over the place last night. So who knows what's going on.
To those snuggling with their LOs enjoy. To those going into labor today good luck and t&ps To those ofofs patiently waiting for our LOs to arrive, the time will be here before we know it.
Had contractions all night. Now nothing, so I'm at work. I'm tired. I have to pee constantly, but nothing comes out.
Personal bitchfest, sorry.
Same boat. Contractions appear to have magically disappeared after 4 hrs. This kid is faking me out and I'm not terribly amused. Might be time to have my first serious talk with my son. I'm still feeling pretty headachy and had to take the pills the hospital provided at 3 am.
I've decided that I've earned Starbucks for breakfast and will be picking some up on my way to work.

So I just found out that work gave the last available private office to someone else. That was supposed to by my pumping area when I got back!! WTF? If they think I'm pumping in a bathroom, they are sorely mistaken. Jerks.
