FYI- M and I are traveling for the next three weeks so I probably won't be around as much but will pop in when I can. CET is pretty busy at work so I'm not sure how much she will be around either. Anyone feel free to start threads

2. Had a great time this weekend with my dad at the ASU football game in LA. They lost, but we got to go to the ASU pre-game party and hang out at the Law school table so that was fun.
3. We have our FET date officially set for Nov 11. Finally!
4. I'll be doing a turn around for work on Thursday, flying out at 6am and flying home at 7pm it's going to be one long ass day.
5. Went to the store on Sunday and are actually making dinner every night this week. It feels great so far.
6. I love the slow cooker.
7. I also love the freezer.
8. My mom got released by her surgeon so she's officially only a cancer patient again! It's time to focus on continuing to fight her tumors.
9. I hope fall like weather shows up at some point over here.

1. We need to find a better system. Work, commuting, homework, sports, dinner, etc are killing us and making us into super grumpy parents at night.
2. We need to hire a afternoon babysitter who can pick them up earlier than we can, assist and check homework, feed an early dinner, and get them to sports. Sadly, they are 3x the cost of aftercare.
3. L is out of town for most of the next 3 weeks (well, M-F.) So, that's fun.
4. I has to dress up a bit more for work today and now I am freezing. I miss my typical hoodie/fleece. Drinking iced tea isn't helping!
5. I think I have figured out childcare while L is away. The kids have 3 days off in the 2 weeks.
6. 6 weeks out and my feet are still peeling like crazy from the Hand Foot Mouth. Yep, you are going to keep hearing about this until it stops.
7. I need to find a new winter coat. My puffer coat is 8 years old and the zipper died at the end of last season.
8. I LOVE this weather. LOVE LOVE LOVE
9. We have absolutely nothing planned on Saturday. C doesn't even have a soccer game. Wonder what we are going to do!?!?! I can't remember the last time we had a whole day with nothing on the calendar.
1. I go back to work on Monday! Booo.... and Yay! I feel so conflicted about it.
2. My aunts (who I ADORE) are coming to visit this weekend. Double yay and lots of cleaning.
3. I put the baby in clothes that are too big for him today, so he looks like an old man. He has so many clothes that are the right size. What was I thinking?
4. I feel soooo grateful that we've been successful in BFing up to this point. I'm not looking forward to pumping at work, but I'd love to make it to 1 year of BFing.
5. Speaking of breastfeeding, I am super dizzy today and yesterday. I feel almost buzzed. It's not fun. I'm afraid I'm going to pass out or something while I've got the baby in my arms. On-call nurse told me to double-down on eating and drinking water.
6. In other crunchy-mom news, I may be a babywearing addict. I love my wraps and I wants MOAR.
7. Something similar is happening with cloth diapering, to be honest. :-)
8. Has anybody played Mini Metro? Its the new game of choice in our house.
5. S was up 2 ounces at her weight check today. The ped is still not happy with that, so more supplementing. M is really taking it hard.
6. I then spent the rest of the afternoon fighting with the insurance company as to why they won't cover the Prilosec that S is on for her reflux. The over the capsules, and shockingly at 7 weeks she can't swallow a capsule.
7. I had a really great afternoon with O yesterday and today she was just such a challenge. M and I talked about maybe putting her in some kind of preschool. We had previously decided to wait until 3 but she seems bored at home. The preschool we really want her to attend doesn't start until 3. We are also looking at some time with the grandmas and our old nanny would probably take her. So far we have always had caregivers in our home. I hate to send her away but I can get NOTHING accomplished with her around.
8. I tend to have streaks of luck selling stuff on Craigslist, I'm in a lull right now. I could use the extra cash.
9. Our anniversary is Saturday, 12 years.
10. I have my bike ride on Sunday. I am really looking forward to it.

Yes, we're doing Flute! I love the Riddle Song and The Earth Is Our Mother and I randomly catch myself singing the Hello song and Dum Ditty Dum around the house. Have you done others?
bexincanada, O really likes the sandpiper song, the earth is our mother and what she calls 'the soup song' #9 on the cd. M takes O to class and always has but we always listen to the cds at home/in the car. I find myself listening to the cd when she's not in the car too! This is the 5th session we are doing now. M really wants to do all of them.
1. We at my parents house for so long, until the 20th, that I'm actually trying to reconnect with some old friends. Seeing a friend from high school for lunch tomorrow. Usually, our visits are so busy that I don't have time.
2. When we were in Boulder, M had some pretty unusually bad nights. Same thing when we were in Santa Fe. We live at sea level, could it have been the altitude?
3. Fortunately, (knock on wood), the last few nights have been back to normal.
4. Yesterday M and I went out for a run. I ran 5 minutes then did 50 lunges (25 each side), then ran 5 more minutes. Repeated for 25 minutes and finished with a 10 minute run.
5. Thinking about signing up for a 5k race next weekend. I heard it's a hilly course and I'm quietly competitive and haven't been training with speed in mind. So, as silly as it may sound, I'm questioning if I want to do it because I'm not as fast as I used to be (which wasn't anything crazy but I was happy with my paces).
CETs
6. Well, no month of October in Houston, and no month of November in the Yukon. And with that, I'm done with trial settings until mid-next year. Doesn't mean there won't be plenty of work, but it sets a different pace around here.
7. It's a little strange to have no family around for a few weeks, but I've been staying plenty busy. Trying to get some blogging and web design done for my side projects. So far so good.
8. M's fall photo shoot pics are ridiculously cute. Having not had control over what the photographer wanted to do, since it was a free shoot at her request, it's almost surprising how well they turned out. I never would have thought our baby would look so cute in a knit fox costume....lol
9. Got my flu shot today. Have a sore arm, but I feel like a responsible adult for once.
10. It's marathon Sunday this week in our town. I'm making advance plans to either be there all day, or be gone all day, as all the streets around town will be blocked off and traffic will be impossible while the event is going on.

cetcar, I definitely understand where you are coming from with the running but I think you should run anyway and be proud of where you are at right now.
