Yay for better nights @frenchtoast and westiemom! o2girl love those baby snuggles... even when I lose sleep to get them! I just have to keep reminding myself they don't last long- my 2 year old hasn't liked to snuggle since he figured out how to move! Lol fishbulb I hope your house is feeling better soon!
We had a way better night. 3 wakeups, 2 to eat, 1 to replace the pacifier. I'll take it. Lo has a bit of a cold and not much of an appetite. He ate 2 oz at 5:30 and it's 10 now and he's sleeping and hasn't ate since. I think the crappy sleep had more to do with him not feeling well and not a regression.
Holy shit show. I should have expected it.. he didn't nap longer than 20 minutes at DC yesterday, but last night was awful. Awful. Awful. The only time he DID sleep was if I was propped up at a weird angle and he was on top of me. So yeah, no sleep.
Side effect of no sleep - I wore a skirt today and haven't shaved my legs since Thursday. I'm half German, so it's definitely noticeable.
We only had one wake up last night! Woot he slept so much better being home! He's has been so aggressive today like when he's tired he's like slapping and scratching at me ... so I just put him in his crib to sleep - maybe he just doesn't want to rock or anything ... silly kid
Oh goodness the kids are absolutely insane today. I've had 2 classes with subs so far and poor subs are already looking so frazzled. And it's only 2.5 hours into the school day. I'm about to lay down the law with the rest of my classes! Especially any with subs! We have a lot in the building today because quite a few teachers are at a workshop this morning. But we have treats! If we didn't, heads would be rolling by now haha! 😂

Two wake ups for me last night. Dog isn't doing much better despite seeing the vet and getting on medication. Taking her in again tomorrow just to make sure we are doing all we can.
Today I'm meeting with a friend for lunch. I'm excited as I LOVE eating out! Give me all the Thai food!
Crap sleep. Crazy daycare morning. DC license is being delayed until I move my changing table 15 feet closer to the sink then redraw two maps to reflect the change.

This is all I have for the ridiculousness you've been through regarding your daycare license... 😒 (major side-eye)
I put a load of laundry in the washer this morning before I left, including some dirty clothes of A's from daycare. I opened the bag and inside was a onesie and a pair of the toddler's pajama shorts. Apparently yesterday I sent my not quite 5 month old to daycare in size 3T pants and didn't notice.
Hey, are you being evacuated? I hope you guys are safe over there!
Thanks! We got most things in off the patio and closed most shutters. We have to do the last few tonight and drain the pool a little. We aren't in an evacuation area. They're recommending people along the coastline and mobile homes evacuate. We're about 25 minutes inland.
My in-laws live in Stuart and are about 200 feet from the intercoastal waterway. They aren't leaving and MH and his brother are flipping out. They're transplant New Yorkers who have never been in a real storm and I'm worried they aren't taking this seriously enough.
Yikes fishbulb ! They've definitely recommended evacuations for that area. If it were me, I'd board up and leave. Is there anyway YH and his brother can convince them to leave?
They're trying. BIL lives in Atlanta and has plenty of room, so it's not like there's nowhere for them to go. MIL has a sister who lives in Naples, so they could even just head to the gulf. It would be much safer.
Last night was alright here. Not great, but not too bad. Though she woke up early again. Not surprising since she went to bed so early, though.
I get to go take my driver's test today. Hopefully I pass. I read the book, but I think the one online is different than the printed one. And it seemed shorter. So hopefully I didn't miss out on anything.
H is on his 8 hour day schedule now instead of 10 hour days and the days go by so much faster! Which is good and bad.
He's taking Friday off which I feel bad but I'm not super excited about because DSs naps go to crap when he's home. I feel like DS will just be back on schedule in time for it to get all messed up again lol
Sorry I've been so MIA! The four month sleep regression is kicking my ass. We had two okay nights and then we all got hit with a cold so back to waking up every two hours and needing to sleep on me. Ugh. He'll be five months old Sunday, so it'll just magically go away, right? Sigh.

I will be thinking of y'all! Hopefully it isn't as bad as it's looking!

@frenchtoast when is the hurricane supposed to reach you guys?
We will start getting bands of rain and wind tonight/tomorrow early morning. Tomorrow we will definitely have tropical storm conditions. They aren't sure if the storm will hit where I am or just north, so it could be hurricane conditions tomorrow instead. This storm is huge.
I'm going to attempt an earlier bed time tonight and see what happens. Usually he goes to bed by 8:30 tonight I''m going to try 7 because lately he's been dosing around then and I'd rather him sleep...
Had to leave my sweet baby today to fly to a meeting. Daycare has an app and I get a notice when G is checked in and as my flight was taking off I hadn't gotten a notice even though DH usually is there earlier than that. I was freaking out texting him. It was fine. I was really nervous about pumping while traveling, because I never had to do it with DS1. The airport I arrived to has a pumping room, which I will be so happy about on my way back! Also, I was so glad one of our clients wasn't on the same flight so I didn't have to share a car and was able to come to the hotel before our meeting to pump. They didn't have any place for me to pump and my room wasn't ready but they opened up another room to pump in and are storing my cooler in their big fridge. Today was a long day and tomorrow will be the same.
