I usually have a bottle of water near me at all times. Last night Leo asked for water and once I handed it to him, he kept doing this weird motion from his hand to mouth. It took a couple times to see it to realize he was pretending he was popping pills before taking a sip of water! Man, these kids are super aware of everything. I take most of my pills at work but I guess he's seen me take the night ones a few times recently.
Work is crazy busy. I'm on a lunch break but should get back. Except I am thinking of what else I can eat. Salty or sweet, hmmm. I've been so bad lately. No more apples or yogurt for 3 pm snacks. Now it's ice cream or brownies or cake. I have a drs appt on Friday so that'll be fun to step on the scale.
Hope everyone is having a good hump day! I'll have to see if I have a pic to AW.
ourcrazynavylife lo's canine teeth took forfuckingever to come in. You have my sympathies. littlelion it's crazy how much these toddlers see and learn! Little sponges. What about apples and peanut butter? That's one of my favorite fall snacks. Mmm.
Went to the park this morning with lo. Not much else going on today. Dh is leaving for an overseas business trip at the end of the month, but no one can give exact dates or say how long the trip will be. It's making me crazy. I'm too type A for this. Lol I like plans and knowing things in advance, especially if I'm going to be solo parenting for who knows how long. It doesn't help that our weekends now through pretty much Thanksgiving are booked solid.
ourcrazynavylife Good luck with the teething toddler. I caught mine with a handful of butter knives last night. Didn't realize the IL's moved them back within her reach.
littlelion I find myself gravitating toward the sugary snacks myself. My one free donut from our local grocery store (because the Broncos won!) turned into 6! I still have 3 left but I'm hoping I can push them onto my FIL.
ashlantic Ugh, overseas is the worst. DH used to travel to eastern European countries and Mongolia. He was not allowed to leave with some kind of itinerary/flight numbers in my inbox. And that was before kids. Hope they get you the information soon.
Went to my first OB appt this morning. When they did my US 2 weeks ago, she said they found a SCH again and I started freaking out. She immediately hauled in an US machine, claimed she wasn't a tech but that she would look for the baby anyway. We saw the beating heart and the baby did a little dance for us. It really put my mind at ease that everything is going okay so far. She gave me some medication to help with the nausea. She hasn't gotten any of my prior history from my last doctor so I had to get a pap smear done. Boo. And it was done by a student/trainee person who wasn't quite sure what she was looking for so it took a couple extra, uncomfortable minutes. I made a joke about it, they said I had a good sense of humor. That's what I do lol.
Nothing planned the rest of the day. LO is down for a nap. I should fold all the laundry, but that requires me doing stuff.
After seeing your sunny park pics ashlantic I had the bright idea to take Leo to the park after I picked him up. We'd picnic dinner and then he'd run around or play on the swings was my thought. Turns out he wanted to explore the playground. I just told my other bmb how I can't keep up with him and there I was trying to chase after him. I couldn't get on with him so I tried to stand next to him. At one pt I fell (sideways) & at another, he fell. It was on the fireman pole. He literally stepped right off and fell straight down luckily feet first and no head bump. We're both fine but I was so shaken up. I got home in tears.
He had a good time but I doubt I'll venture out alone with him again. Which makes me sad.

raven I had a med student at my appt. Plus the OB got a standby. So it was a three ring circus all up in my shizz. Lol Poor guy. I think I made them all feel bad with my hormonal meltdown.
raven I had a med student in the room when I had to go in and get some spotting checked out. The student looked like he was 16 and was probably terrified of me because I was a hysterical mess. Keeping fx for a healthy 9 months for you! littlelion hugs, sorry your day at the park was so rough!
