After relying solely on stool softeners, and being chastised by my doctor on Tuesday for being dehydrated, I've been upping my water as much as possible. My poop this morning still felt like it had a couple razor blades in it, and I still bled a little, but it looked healthier? Is that a win?
I just pooped, I'm five days post c-section now and it felt like it was full of tacks and made me feel like I was having a big contraction. I feel it in my entire body. I can't imagine what that would have been like sans stool softeners.
Just saw the dictator's first baby erection. Cannot unsee.
They only get weirder. Wait until they're two-ish and realize how to make it happen by playing with it. And then they never leave it alone ever again...
grumpycat88 and shannjohnston, No one warned me about that 5 years ago with DS so it shocked the hell out of me when it first happened. But thank goodness DS didn't get interested in playing with it. He just liked, and still likes to run around naked and dance to make "it" dance too...oh boys...
Mother nature has officially made her appearance and I am none too thrilled. I'm five and a half PP and I was really hoping to avoid this for a little while longer... Andplusalso, I miss wearing tampons.... PP appointment on Tuesday so next month, I'll have the all clear. Now, where the heck is my midol at?

Possibly. And maybe even a love of peeing on trees...at the park. DS was 2 when his uncle showed him he could pee on trees while camping and it was a challenge to teach DS when it was/wasn't appropriate to pee on trees. At a busy park was NOT appropriate. But a lot of us moms got a good healthy laugh out of it.

Laughing here because at ds's 5th birthday party last summer I looked over and saw 4 little boys peeing on the same tree at the same time.
I think my roids may be starting to shrink but I've had other swelling and bleeding so that's not so comfortable. Maybe today I can use some tucks pads again, I had stopped since they are a pain and I keep forgetting to remove them do they fall on the floor or the toilet when I go pee.

This reminds me of the time my cousin peed on the fake ficus trees in the middle of Lowe's when he was about 3. My aunt was mortified. I am not looking forward to moments like that with DS and I have a feeling there will be plenty of them.

Random. I was still having constipation issues pp and was taking Colace twice a day. Decided to check the label on the prenatal vitamins that they sent me home with.... 125% of your daily iron dose. Dropped that shit like a bad habit and have been regular since with no Colace.

So stms how do you not laugh when your kid pees in public? Like obviously it's less than ideal and you teach them to pee in their pull ups/a bathroom, but it's really pretty funny.

I have to take iron like 3 times a day due to having had a pp hemmorage. They only said to take colace twice a day, it sure would be nice not to have to take in so much iron, especially because I can'thave any dairy within an hour of it, because calcium binds to iron, so I have to strategically space out my food and multi vitamins and iron and calcium pills, I feel like an old person when I go to take all off my pills etc.
I was super tired this am when I changed lo so I used a slightly largerdiaper that dh had taken out and decided not to use. Lo pooped a tiny bit and of course it came out the leg and was a blow out because I was too tired at 4am to think about getting out the right sized diaper...yuck.

I couldn't help but laugh. And then took a deep breath and used my big girl/mom voice to scold him. Not yell or berate him, just stern scolding and explaining in kid language why peeing in public is bad.
Pp bleeding question, mine was mostly gone but now its bright red and back with a vengeance...that is normal unless I soak a pad in an hour right? My son is 11 days old if that helps.

Mine comes and goes depending largely on activity level. If I overdo it, I bleed a tonne (and my stitches/surrounding area hurt like crazy). I seem to bleed more after a really good nursing session, too. So yes, I'd say it's normal.
Thanks @littlefoote and FiliaRitae, I was up out of bed on the computer a lot yesterday and also walking around plus it was after nursing. I guess I didn't think I over did it because I didn't leave the house but I was up and helping my son more since the inlaws left
DS1 still has diarrhea from the amoxicillin, and I guess it's hurting his butt because he asks me to blow it when I change his diaper. He just has 3 days left, but I'm going to ask the doctor about it at DS2's appointment tomorrow to see if we can stop. I am tired of cleaning up the diarrhea 6 times a day, and I know he's tired of it too.
