packmomma, he will get there! Do you try to go daily? It helps Noah seeing the same ladies daily. That being said, his teacher is leaving Friday so yay for having to adjust again. Andplusalso, we are on a wait list for a new center so another adjustment period will have to happen then.
layloo08 we've been going a couple days a week but I'm going to try going 4 times this week (every day but Wednesday) so that he can get used to it and just realize this is where we go in the mornings. He seems to do better after his first nap so I might make that change right now too.

I spent the weekend at my parent's house. We went there friday night because my mom was going to watch Jack for me Saturday while I was at work. We decided to stay Saturday night too because of the crazy weather. My brother was there too so it was a party! Fun times.
My mom told me today that they bought my dad a new car and they are giving me the old one! I'm so happy and grateful and EXCITED to have a car that doesn't have problems!!
So I told you guys DH's coworker's girlfriend went in for potential preterm labor a couple of weeks ago. It turned out to be a false alarm. But DH told me today that they noticed an abnormality in baby's heart when they were monitoring. Today she went to the follow-up appt with OB and baby was diagnosed with CCHD. Coworker wasn't there so he doesn't know which defect it is, only that it will likely require an open heart surgery shortly after birth. So send some good vibes/thoughts/prayers to baby Alice.
Today is a good day. The interview went well and I think I'm well qualified for what he is doing. He's worrying a new chapter for the next edition of his book that I'd about to be published. It's on at therapy and digital media. I have art, psychology, writing, and art therapy experience. I would get publishing credit. I also applied for a few jobs that I would be happy with. So I'm hopeful today.
I just caught up on parenting and I am so fucking gutted over naria. I know it's not my pain but I was so hopeful for her. On top of that I've been reading about a lot of fucked up shit lately with people dying ( a lot of those children) and it's making me so sad.

I'm with you abvintage. I feel like these awful things are happening and it makes me so sad but I can't dwell too much on the heartbreak that is peripheral to me or I won't enjoy the good. I hope for naria that in the end she feels like she ends up raising the child she is meant to raise.
We were out of town this weekend and it was fun but exhausting. We went to Nola and it was strange to be back as a visitor and a bit sad but we enjoyed it.
2dumbdogs, I'm so sorry about your dog. I'm glad you were able to be there. I'm sure it was a great comfort to your pup.
ampaints, I'm so glad the interview went well. I hope you get the position!
@janetheconquerer, That sucks about your car. It happens frequently in my neighborhood and it's so frustrating and annoying. Not to mention that my H can never remember to lock the car doors. We've had many arguments about it, especially since we've had stuff stolen repeatedly.
backstory: twins were playing with play dough from a birthday party; we discover that Abigail has made her way over there and eaten some of it.
DH to DD1: How much play dough has Abigail eaten?
DD1: A medium amount Daddy.
Oh. Well okay then. Thanks for stopping her. At least it's nontoxic I guess, lol! She might be pooping some bright colors in the next day or two. It's never dull over here.
Well. My grandmother with liver cirrhosis is comatose now. I'll have to tell my mom in the morning. I still don't have any feelings about it, but I feel bad for those who are close to her.
