So in just peeked in and he was being rocked so I was like "fuck!" Ingot my keys from my locker and went to go pick him up and he's playing at a table and having a grand time! So now the conundrum do I leave him or pick him up while he's still in a good mood?
Well I decided to go get him and turns out he had been crying on and off for awhile. She said he would cry for 2 minutes and then they'd get him to calm down. He'd play a bit and then start crying again. Fuck.
W just log rolled down 3 wooden stairs and landed on tile. He seems ok. We called the nurse line and have to wake him an hour after he goes to sleep but he seems back to normal. Although he tripped while I was on the phone with the nurse line (H was watching him) and started screaming bloody murder so that was fun. I need a drink.
abominationsnowman hugs to you too. Yeah he was trying to step down sideways and j was right there and couldn't catch him. He cried and then I turned on curious George and nursed him and he was ok. I just did my hour check and he nursed great and went back to sleep normally so I think he's okay. He didn't even notice he was hurt. I swear they do this on purpose.

I'm sorry packmomma it's a terrible feeling when they fall. Did you have that drink?!
I just went for a long walk. I'm pretty frustrated with DH. I had a crap day and he's storming around the house because of his own crap day. I am just not in the mood. Having a beer now.
I did not get my drink but I made myself a small dessert and H and I watched stranger things (first 2 episodes) and a project runway. So that was nice. Especially because we've been on edge with each other lately.
tuscanlatte, That is some crazy shit. I don't know what I'd do if that happened. I know I'd want to tell the person off, but I think I might be too shocked in the moment to do it.
packmomma, Sorry about the tumble. I'm glad he seems okay.

I've been up since 5, all stuffed up with the damn head cold DS brought home from school. Ugh. We were going to meet friends at the park today but I think I'm bailing, this is awful! I might go to the store to get stuff to make matzo ball soup since I have yet to find a deli around here that has a good version of it. It's times like this I miss DC!

Also, did anyone have sciatic nerve issues when they were k/u? WTF IS THIS NONSENSE?!?! Is there anything I can do for it? Anything that helped? It wasn't too bad but lately every time I get up from a sitting position it takes my breath away. So much nope.

Yup. With both kids. I had trouble walking. A heating pad worked great, also stretching. We also bought a new bed that reclines in all different positions. While I know the latter isn't something that can easily be done, just getting a new bed lol. Maybe you can try reclining in a chair or something while on the heating pad.

Yes and it was way worse the second time! Same things @betweenthelines mentioned. I could only sleep in a recliner.

Add me to the yes club. Try sleeping with a body pillow between your knees, that helped a lot. I do remember it went away further in the pregnancy.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that. I didn't have a body pillow, but I used a regular pillow between my legs.

DS2 had been sleeping thru the night for a few weeks. This past week sleep has been a shit show. He's been waking up 3 times a night for the last couple of nights. I'm thinking teeth. I'm hoping its teeth so there is an end in sight.
