I'm off. But I'm always off. Lol. Perks of full time student status. DH has the extra day off so excited to hang out with him. (Aka make him watch tiny tornado while I do homework lol).
I'm a SAHM so I'm "off" but not really. DH starts his new job tomorrow so he is home with us today. It's a pleasant change! Especially since I have a pounding headache I can't shake.

I'm going to die during my test tomorrow. It's not even 11 AM and I've already had a big breakfast and all the healthy snacks I've packed for myself for the day, and I'm still hungry. I don't know how I'm going to make it this long eating nothing.

I'm a SAHM so I'm "off" but really extra "on" because my DH is away for a week, Dubai. It's crazy to me how far away he is. My daughter keeps asking for him and he won't be home until Friday night! We are going to go stay with my parents for two nights for some company.

That sucks, hpnegirl. Every time I get annoyed/dissatisfied with our house, I remind myself of how much it sucks to move and suddenly my dissatisfaction fades away, haha. Hope you can get settled in soon.

Question: am I a horrible person if I crochet a baby blanket for this baby when I didn't do one for DD? I knew she was going to be getting a bunch of homemade blankets from my shower so I didn't want to add to the pile. Obviously not doing a shower for this one so I don't foresee any homemade blankets coming from anyone else- max 1 or 2. But I don't want DD to feel in the future like I favored her baby brother/sister because I took the time to make him/her a baby blanket and didn't for her.
Can I explain that she got a homemade blanket made by X,Y,Z relative and this baby didn't so I didn't want baby to feel left out? Or is this better if I just don't do it at all?
Maybe I can even get her involved in picking out a color and making yarn balls for me? I don't know.

Holy bejeezus customer service. We ordered a bunch of lights from Lowe's back in July when we renovated our house. Two of them came cracked. I jumped through freaking hoops for weeks getting them to order the replacement globes.
Finallyyyy got them this weekend because they sent them to the old rental house and we hadn't been over there.
Well, they sent us freaking duplicates. So I'm still only able to replace one broken light. They didn't send the globe for the other one.
Hey ladies! It's a holiday here so my husband is home and took G most of the morning so that was awesome. Will be a lazy day, though I have a quick meeting for a new project I'm working on, but she's coming to my place so I won't need to head out in the snow! Lots of leftovers in the fridge so no cooking today!

I had today off, but husband is still out of town and toddler is a demon. Just sat down for the first time today. I've had a killer headache too thenewkmr. I hate taking meds, but Tylenol has been my friend. Stew is in the crockpot, and someone here is responsible. Can't remember who?
downtheshore, hope your solo parenting goes quickly.

Oh, and I managed not to tell my husband that I found out the baby's sex. He gets home super late tonight, and there's an "it's a girl" balloon waiting for him.

So, my insurance through work is pretty stupid sometimes, and for some reason they were only letting me fill 9 zofran at a time for $4 a pick-up. But my amazing friend, who works in our pharmacy, figured it out and got it set up so I get all 42 per script, as prescribed by my ob, for $0 copay. I am super excited, and now just have to find my way into work while suffering from extreme constipation. 99% yay!

Morning loves! Not much on the agenda today. If I am feeling better, and Delaney is feeling better, we will venture to the outlets this week to Sketchers. I found the cutest booties at their outlet at the beach but they didn't have my size.
Also, DH went grocery shopping yesterday while Delaney was napping, and I got to nap!!! He's never gone grocery shopping without me!

I'm hanging out at the hospital doing my 3 hr glucose tolerance test. Everyone in the lab thinks it's ridiculous that I'm here this early in my pregnancy. I should've fought back against my NP when she wanted to do the first one. Ugh.

I'm sorry. I hope it's over soon and you get to do something fun after. What flavor did you get?
