I hate when I get all locked into my closet, sit down, and get hooked up to pump only to have the urge to poop hit. It makes for a miserable pump session!
I just found out that the Hamilton soundtrack is available for streaming through Amazon Prime. My day of being stuck sitting in front of the computer will now suck a lot less.

Y'all- DH is "quitting" his job as we speak and I am so nervous! He was cool as a cucumber this AM though! He is buying a practice and will own it as of Oct 31. It's only a 3 day a week practice so he's hoping he can stay where he is for 2 days temporarily. I'm dying for him to call me! The meeting was at 8:30 and no word yet!

There is a sale at The Zen One and I finally pulled the trigger and got the rainbow lisca woven wrap that I've been eyeing! So excited.
I haven't slept yet, but she should be waking up any minute now and just on time I'm starting to feel a little sleepy. Just in time to crash as I need to be awake. Guess our naps will be had in bed today instead of in the living room.

Daycare director pulled me aside yesterday to say they really don't want to do cloth diapers for DS anymore. I was pissed. DD went a whole year with no issues from any of her teachers. Now her new teacher and DS's teachers are having trouble and don't want to use them. I don't like DD's teacher, but since she is potty training they are OK with cloth. DS's teachers are nice but I think they are rushing through his changes and not getting a good fit. They probably just want disposables since that's what they are used to.
I'm seriously considering switching daycares. My other issue is they don't always give him all his bottles. I said he can go 3-4 hours between feeds. I send 3 bottles. I told them the other day he could go more than 4 hours if he get's a good nap. So lately he's been coming home with an extra bottle, but that means he only gets about 8-10 ounces while he's there. That seems crazy to me. He cluster feeds in the evening and he usually wakes shortly after I put him to bed for another feed. However on the weekends that doesn't happen because he eats more during the day.
Maybe I need to mention that I would prefer he had all 3 bottles. They just seem to prefer a set schedule and I'm more about feeding on demand. AFBSKLGBRGN I just don't know what to do!

That's hard! I definitely think a meeting with daycare is in order to express your concerns. Can you show them how to do the diapers? Sorry for the stress? That is crazy!

Oh jeez that would be so frustrating. I could understand if the daycare didn't do cloth from day one but switching it would tick me off. You pay a lot of $$$ to trust someone with your kid(s)
gahorseygal I'm sorry for the DC frustrations. That's tough. I wouldn't be on board with switching from cloth. It's understandable if they had said no from the start. Some daycares don't want to deal with it. But for them to tell you yes then no is not ok in my book. Also on the bottles, maybe try telling them you want him to have all 3 bottles but do not wake to feed. Maybe they'll understand that better. Also, I would explore other daycare options. It can't hurt to see what's out there anyway.
He's out! It could have gone better IMO but he's feeling good about it so I guess that's all that matters.
Glad he's feeling good about it!
Is there any chance he could eventually expand the practice he's buying into more days a week?
Doubtful because it's in a super small town. He plans to eventually open a second branch in another small town. He wants to work elsewhere to save money while working towards that.

Sounds like he's thought it through! I'm excited for you guys ❤️
gahorseygal are you the one who was also saying their DC said no glass bottles and no hoods? Either way, were you given their policies/handbook when you signed your contract? I think it's absolutely reasonable for you to continue doing cloth. What is the difference if they put the diaper in the garbage or in your wet bag to send home? And for the feeding, do they send home a log? Could you insist they try and feed him all 3 and have them record every time they try, how much he takes and whether he refuses? Anyway, If your providers are unwilling to work with you on creating a solution that works for everyone it is time to look elsewhere.

I don't cloth diaper so no experience but I would be pissed that they are changing their minds half way through. If they didn't want to cloth diaper they should have said so from the start. The bottles would piss me off. By this point I would bypass dealing with the teachers and go speak to the office.

I think that was aemommy with the glass bottles and hoods.
It does say in the handbook no cloth diapers, but I was told they would do them before we sent DD there. However, the director has changed and the new director doesn't seem as lenient on it.
I've shown them how to put them on properly and one of the teachers even asked questions after she had some trouble, but I hadn't heard anything since then so I figured all was good.
As for the bottles they do keep a log. They have never said he has refused a bottle, it seems like they rarely give him one before the 4 hour mark though. I may need to see if they can feed him more on demand.

I just hate being difficult.
You definitely aren't being difficult; they are!
This times a million.
You aren't asking for anything unrealistic and like I said before you're paying good money for care.
