Sorry for the sick LOs, NJgirl84! Apple picking sounds so fun though.
DH and the older kids just left for work & school, I'm nursing a sleepy DS2 and need breakfast and more coffee ASAP. Excited to have the day to myself for the first time since he was born

C woke with a fever still, but we got meds into her and she's much better. She's playing and not crying, so that's great. I found Daniel Tiger on Amazon prime so she's pumped about that... and I'm totally fine with her watching a lot while she's under the weather.
Another not great night that appears to be heading towards a not so great day. K is still being super fussy and wanting to be held all the time. I tried using the Maya wrap we have last night but I can't seem to get it set in a way that she's comfortable in it.
And she's been spitting up A LOT. Last night I fed her and an hour later she was laying down and just started spitting up all over. This morning she spit up while nursing, like just popped the nipple out of her mouth and spit up, then went to latch back on.
I chalked the first day of fussiness up to finally being home after almost a week of travel, but the last two days are an enigma to me. She's just about at the one month mark, so maybe it's just a growth spurt. Though that doesn't explain the throwing up.

Hopefully she keeps feeling better. Nothing wrong with a day spent watching TV when she's not feeling well.
That sounds rough pismoduo. Anything different you've been eating recently that might be messing with K? It's the first thing that came to mind since there has been some talk of intolerances on here.

R was super gassy for a bit last night so our 2nd stretch of sleep was him in my arms on the couch. Like everyone else I try not to do that, but he was just not falling back to sleep in the PNP. Got us an almost 4 hour stretch though so I'll take it!
It was so cold this morning! It's warming up now, but it was down to 31* overnight. I love the fall but I'm not ready for winter temps overnight!
Need to make a Target run later. We're out of NB diapers again. Technically Size 1 fits him, but they seem big so I think we'll stick with NB for now.
Good morning! I managed to get 8 hours of sleep last night (not in a row). H knew I needed it and covered the first 6. I feel amazing!
Today we're going to a Halloween store to get my oldest a costume. Then maybe hitting a park afterwards. I still need to clean out the nursery closet as well.
In the hospital for my induction! This kid is coming out one or another soon!
Good luck! Go baby, it's your birthday!
We managed to wean off the nipple shield on one side, so that's nice. The wee peanut is super gassy and fussy though, poor thing. And she's started spitting up a lot. I'm hoping she doesn't develop bas reflux like her brother.
pismoduo sorry you're dealing with the fussiness and spitting up too. It's no fun.
Good morning everyone! I went to sleep at 9pm last night...and even though baby was up every 3 hours...I feel pretty decent. My toddler was up crying off and on for mommy. Not sure what was going on with her bc my H was in charge.
pismoduo have you tried holding your little upright for 15/20 minutes after a feeding? maybe she is having a little bit of reflux? I'm sorry you've had a rough day/night!
I have a killer headache that hasn't stopped since yesterday afternoon and my little baby woke up with green crust in her eyes. So far this does not seem like a good day.
NJgirl84 one sick kid is bad enough I can't imagine two!! Hugs mama. @snuff9861 hoping for a quick and easy induction! @annapunkalunks I hope she feels better today! pismoduo I remember when DS1 would go through a growth spurt he would over eat and then throw up/spit up and eat more. I think that's normal? Or he was weird
pismoduo, we started getting a ton more spit up at about 4 weeks also. I chalked it up to her eating more and my supply increasing.. hopefully it slows down soon as their tummies mature!!

E has been asleep for almost 2 hours which means it's been 3 since she ate.. I'm debating waking her. How ridiculous that I spend all my time worried about getting a baby to sleep and then thinking about waking her up!
Cousins took off this morning and DD1 is at daycare. Enjoying a few quiet days then the in-laws come Thursday. I'm lucky and love having them here. MIL brings me champagne.

Yes this cycle used to stress me out SOOO much when my toddler was a baby. I'm worried about this stage as my baby gets older also. Argh!SaveSave

I don't wake her since she is past her birth weight but I do wake her up during the day to eat every 2 hours because she does such long stretches at night. I stressed about this with ds1 as well but this one sleeps so much better at night and I wonder if it's because I didn't wake her every 3 like I did with him? Who knows, baby sleep is so complicated!

I was trying to do this at first but R would just get pissed off so I stopped. If I feel like he should be waking up to eat, I try changing his diaper. If that works I feed him, otherwise I just let him be. He generally wakes on his own by the 3 hour mark so if he passes that once in a while during the day I just try to not worry about it.

LadyNymeria, we found the Huggies size 1 diapers to be too big, but the Pampers size 1 fit well when newborns seemed too small. We ended up buying a box of newborn diapers we couldn't use before figuring this out
Me: 28, all tests normal DH: 34, very low count, motility, morphology DX - MFI 11/14/09 - Married 01/01/14 - TTC #1 01/06/15 - Started working with RE 04/06/15 - Recommendation - straight to IVF w/ICSI 09/04/15 - Started working with new RE Nov/Dec 15 - IVF w/ ICSI #1 - 11R/8F - 1 transferred, 3 frozen
Met a friend for lunch and A slept through it. Figured I'd roll the dice and go shopping for some nursing tops and she slept through that too. 3 hr nap! This is big for my baby who is constantly on the boob
Hubs let me go to bed early after I nursed and I got 5 consecutive hrs of sleep!

I hope your induction is going well so far @snuff9861!
Sorry to those with sick babes and sucky nights.
Yay to those who got great sleep!
pismoduo poor K. Perhaps there's a burp in there causing the spit up?
A has not been napping much during the day and especially when I put him down 😕 He's also been having a hard time pooping. He's pooped 3 times in a week. This past Sunday is the last time he did and before that it was Thursday. I can tell he's struggling, poor guy.
If a book was purchased on a kindle by accident (thank you DS1), is it possible to "return" it within a certain amount of time? I didn't see anything in the book part of on my Amazon.

I believe I've seen this option on Amazon somewhere before. Can't remember where unfortunately. Maybe check the Your Orders page?
