Anyone have experience with this? We went to the doctor yesterday. Looks worse today than yesterday so I called back and am waiting on a call from the doc. No new foods, soap, etc. He wore a new shirt and pants on Sunday but he rash/hives are on his torso and groin. Sorry if I'm rambling. I'm at work and nanny just sent me a pic and it looks so sad and I'm obviously worried.

Oh that looks awful. I would try an oatmeal bath. Dd1 had a freak skin reaction over her whole body last fall. We have no idea what caused it. She's older so we did give her a small dose of Benadryl but I don't think that's recommended for babies. I hope your pedi had some answers!!
Yea I spoke with the doctor I saw yesterday in the office "just let it pass". Come on lady! I feel so bad for him. Pedi is saying it's viral. No Benedryl. Wah!

That looks so sad for him.
I guess it's good that it's viral instead of having to deal with allergies. If it gets too uncomfortable for him, maybe infant Tylenol? I don't know if that's something your doctor would go for, but it couldn't hurt to ask.
Thanks guys! He woke up yesterday morning and it was completely gone. I think the nurse in me tends to brush things off but this situation made me worry! He's been in a much better mood
