Nothing super exciting for us. Just trying to convince nanny kid to leave the house. I did get up early this morning and do some cleaning before my sister stays at our house this weekend.

Hi guys! Trying to hang in there, but things are crazy at work. I've logged in sporadically to see what you guys are up to. Will try to catch up on the threads more later.
H and I are going to try to go on a date tonight to Coopers Hawk. We signed up for a membership during our anniversary bar crawl. does anyone know if you can drink one of you bottles at the restaurant if you go for dinner? Or do you have to take them home?

Hi, nothing exciting going on here. I am trying to brainstorm how to convince H that we should go with wood looking tile in the non bedroom areas. I proposed the idea a few weeks ago and he basically looked at me like I had 3 heads and said that no one is going to buy a home with "wood" tile and we should put down laminate. He wasn't having any part of it.

It has become extremely popular. I know several people recently that have redone their floors using that.

I have a membership, and although I've never done it, I'm pretty sure there's no issue with using one of your bottles.

Present. Nothing too exciting here. Had a doc appt today, and forgot to do my glucose test, I thought I was 28 weeks on Friday. Nope I'm 28+2 today. But, doc said it is ok to do tomorrow and then I have to get my rhogam after that and I need to do flu shot and tdap, tomorrow should be an exceptionally fun day.
Semi here. Slammed with work. Finally figured out which one of the cats is puking everywhere. Taking her to the vet later and trying to mentally prepare for a not so good outcome.

Sorry about the cat.
Are you still covering the girl on mat leave? Any slowdown soon with work?

Yeah. The earliest she would be back is first of the year. I'm thinking she will want extra time though since baby is still in nicu and not even home yet. At least I would if I were her.
Just an update. H got his sleep results. He has apnea and goes for his mask fitting Nov 3 after baby is here. It's also recommended that he get a tonsillectomy. Which he could have already done with the septoplasty. Yay.

I'm glad you have some answers. I had a tonsillectomy when I was five and I don't snore, if that's any help in terms of effectiveness.

Yay! I'm so happy for you to get some sleep. But that sucks that it took so long. Just a warning, there were a lot of bills that came along with the CPAP.

The doctor said he would pay a monthly fee for 10 months and then it would be ours to keep. We've met our deductible so not sure how that will all work... We'll also be starting over with deductible in January.

My mom was told the same about the monthly fee, but the fee was so astronomical that she didn't do it. I think when their insurance changed or something she was able to get it outright.

From what I can tell of our plan, it says we should pay 10% of the plan allowance and that they have durable medical equipment "in network" providers that we should go through to get the best rate. We'll just have to see how this goes.

becole do they want him to do another sleep study for the fitting? A work friend's H needs a cpap and insurance said they will not approve another sleep study. He had to get a machine that had 2 preset settings from a DME...just a heads up

If you've met your deductible and can swing it, maybe you can pay your portion outright. Then you don't have to worry about meeting another deductible.

Yes he has to do a second one with a fitting. I'll make sure the pre auth went through. Our plan is pretty generous. I've never been denied a procedure or drug in the 9 years I've worked here. It's just how much I owe of it.
mom2boxers I would actually prefer that, and just go ahead and pay the 10% up front. I can't imagine this machine being more than $1,000 allowable amount? So that would only be us paying $100. Idk?

becole - You should get all the medical stuff done this year. Between your appendix, birth, your husband's procedure, sleep study, and CPAP you might make your out-of-pocket max. It's like finding hidden levels in a video game.
