I am impressed bocaburger my babies hate the bath especially the getting dried part.
My daughter LOVES the bath. It's her favorite thing besides her other favorite thing of sitting in her car seat & riding in the car. So funny because so many babies hate their car seat too

My babies are the exact same! They scream when I put them in the car seats but then a minute later they are either passed out or quiet but happy.
hollyberry my secret is to feed them before the bath. If they have full tummies they love the bath, if they are hungry they scream!

My child loves the bath but hates the towel/drying part. Even if she's shivering in the tub, she'll still cry when I wrap her up in the blanket and it lasts until clothes are back on. Silly pumpkin.

hollyberry I also used to use two wash clothes during bath time. One for washing DD and another to keep her covered.
I use a muslin reciving blanket to wash and also cover them up so they are not too cold. The water they seem to not mind its the wiping and then the drying. The first few seconds/minutes in the water they dont always mind. Today is bath day so we will see how it goes!

bocaburger, mine have just started mainly this week. They are 11 weeks. Before now they would but i was not sure if it was a real one or a poop smile. But i am sure now.

This makes me feel better, mine are 9 weeks and G is not smiling yet, M is occasionally but I can't tell if they are intentional.
I miss you guys, too! Life is okay at the moment. MrRama and I are going to WDW next weekend for just under a week and then when we get back, we'll start looking at doing another round of treatment. So, who knows? Maybe an A17 baby??
Also, I've been super obsessed with a mobile dating game, so I haven't been much of anywhere [on TCF] in the past monthish, hahaha.
Those of you whose babies are smiling regularly - when did that start?
Alfie has been giving us social smiles since he was 4 weeks old. He had been "smiling" before that but those were probably just a reflex or not on purpose. But since 4 weeks he's definitely smiling at us. He's a very happy and smiley and social little guy though (just like his dad, he really is mini-DH) and loves to coo and talk to us.
ETA: both the pediatrician and the nurse we saw at his one month appointment was surprised by how much he was smiling. So maybe he was early?? I honestly have no idea when they are 'supposed' to do things so I don't know what's early or late or normal
DD was also 4 weeks. She smiled at our pedi at her one month appt and she said it was early. I wonder if it has to do with our babies both being "late". If I remember correctly you also went to 41 weeks right?
