Speaking of going to see movies in the theatre. My UO is that it is way too expensive and a complete waste of money to go watch movies when they come out. I haven't paid to see a movie in a theatre in over 6or7 years. I would much rather wait for it to come out on redbox and enjoy it in the comfort of my own home. Andplusalso the concession stand prices are out of control.

I loved 50 shades of Grey! I couldn't put the books down! I didn't want them to end. I won't go see the movie in theaters, I'll wait until it's in red box. I must have forgot about the tampon, someone refresh my memory.
I agree with not watching movies in theaters, way too over priced. Except American sniper. We paid to see that. Well worth the money, IMHO. Movie popcorn with extra extra extra butter is bomb. I am craving that this second now.
Also, Mexican food errrrday! Crazy. How can you not like Mexican!?
I read the first book. I was appalled by the writing....disgusted by the tampon, that killed it for me!
Viva la Mexican food!
Any Indian food lovers?
*raises hand*
DH introduced it to me after his trip to singapore. And now i cant get enough of the mutton biryani and the roti! Pakistani food is also yummy you should give it a try. Good thinh for us there is a nearby indian restaurant in our neighborhood that is not so pricey, delivers without charge and is at your doorstep in 20 mins. We can call for deliv till 12mn! When i was pregnant i ate biryani 3x A week!!!!
I love Mexican and Indian food. I ate so much while pregnant with both kids that I'm sure they'll love it too, my son likes spicy food and has since he turned 1. He loves to dip chips in salsa and will eat half of my Indian meal or more if I let him. In fact its only 10 am but I'm thinking of microwaving a trader joes Indian meal for breakfast as ds is at ot with his Daddy.
I had lamb biryani delivered today! DH came home early from work so I reluctantly shared it. Also reluctantly sharing my squish....
I should have read this before I responded. grommom and @nursesouder we should invite aarti and have an Indian food party. Mutton biryani FTW
@nursesouder I totally just ate chicken tikka masala for breakfast. I really want to try trader joes' lamb koftas (sp?) I read about them in the fearless flyer, they're lamb meat balls. Hopefully I can pick some of those up and chocolate croissants which are to die for!
Now I want chocolate croissants too. This thread is makin me hungry.

Mmm Indian food, that sounds good.
Uo...nah I think I'll complain. I am not digging breast pads. I'm about to the point I'd be okay leaking everywhere. Maybe that's my unpopular opinion, I rather leak than have these darn scratchy things on my boobs.
I'm going to side eye all my "friends" on Facebook who see Fifty Shades this weekend. Total garbage IMO. I tried reading the book and that girl cannot write whatsoever. I made it through one chapter and put it down.
I won't read the book but I do want to see the movie because Jamie Dornan is hot. And I'm easily turned on.

I kind of like when people use names that are predominately one gender for the opposite. I had a girlfriend in high school named Ryan and I loved her name

I'm glad you posted this! I was too afraid to say anything that I would be banned from here with all these 50 shade haters! Lol I enjoyed the books and couldn't put them down. Also won't go see in theaters because it's expensive! Red box it will be!
My UO's were prompted by a conversation with the dits across the street.
1. Award shows are boring
2. People who obsess over everything celebrities do are strange to me. Why do you care where someone eats or where they buy a house? You don't have to know everything people you know personally do, so why do you need to know everything someone you don't know personally does??
The whole celebrity gossip thing just baffles and annoys me.
This. I have no interest in people I don't actually know. (Except you ladies. We have a special bond, lol.) I haven't figured out my own life, I have no time to gawk at others.
I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!
bubbles923 What kind of breast pads are you using? I use Lansinoh and don't feel them at all.
I second this. I used Medela and about lost my mind. But lansinoh is fine.
I use Lansinoh or nuk and don't notice them.
As for the 50 Shades. I also read 2 chapters and had to put it down! Refuse to see the movie but that is bc DH and I are major germaphobes and won't go to the theater bc that seems to be where people go when they are sick. And it is stupid expense to go to the theater.
My UO is I can't stand Indian food. Don't even like the smell of it.
With this pregnancy though I wanted Mexican food everyday when normally I would try to talk DH out of it.
My UO must be I love going to the movies. I never go, because babies, but when I do I get a big ole popcorn and diet coke. It's so nice to watch a movie uninterrupted.
I love Indian food. Veg navratan korma is my favorite.

I love going to the movies too. Before we had kids, DH and I would go to the movies several times a month. I always get a Coke Slushy and popcorn. I once went to the movies 3 times in 1 day with an ex-bf because he loved going to the movies as much as I do.
I love going to the movies too! We used to go a few times a month before we had kids. Now it is usually a kids movie or I go by myself, I just enjoy the uninterrupted movie experience. It is crazy expensive but we have a theatre here that has special pricing between 4:00 and 5:30 everyday it is only $5.75 for tickets, then they have a bucket you can buy for popcorn that is only $4 to fill plus they have a rewards club where you earn free stuff. We never go outside of those special times so we can go without spending too much.
I thought of another one, perfect for Valentines day. I don't like getting cut flowers because they die, I far prefer to receive a plant or food. Dh knows this and usually buys me a plant and my good friend sent me an edible arrangement. I know dh likes cut flowers so occasionally I'll buy them for him.
