Just got home from my OB checkup. Baby's heart rate was in the 150's, fundal height measuring right on track, stopped by the lab for a couple blood draws and UTI screening, and the doc placed the order for my a/s. Now to (im)patiently wait for them to call me so I can schedule it!

I decided to WAH because I have a late phone call and then we're going to a concert tonight. I'm not super excited about the concert because it's an artist I don't really know, but DH likes him a lot so I'm trying to be a team player and act a little enthusiastic.
corinne it took me a few days to figure out what it was. Can't say I can feel him moving, but I certainly can feel the kicks.
moutonrouge It comes really randomly, never really after food or anything specific yet. That'd be so fun to feel them react to something!
It is pretty fun - DH thinks he would be able to feel something but since the movement stops when a hand is there, I don't think he ever really has (he'll ask 'was that it' and I haven't felt anything from the inside). It feels so tickly (once in a while I feel a tap-tap-tap) that I don't think he could feel it from the outside.

Same here, I keep trying to catch him in the act from the outside to see if DH could feel it if he had his hand there. No such luck.
My H felt the LO kick from the outside yesterday. He said "omg it's like an alien!" I was like dude this is not your first rodeo, you can't act like it's suddenly weird lol
Im also losing hair by the handful, and I have been from the start. It's weird because I didn't lose like any hair at all with #1. I can't believe there is still so much hair on my head after all that I've lost.
It's super sunny here! I'm enjoying the day. I accepted the job 4 blocks from my house. My current job kicked me out, so I'm starting next week- which is a little soon, but oh well. (Tuesday tho.)
No movement here. Of course, I'm not super attentive and could just be missing it!
Now- off to online shop for a maternity suit. I hate spending money on suits when I am not pregnant. This feels extra annoying.

glb30 I haven't looked I to it that closely but I have seen ads for renting professional maternity clothes as monthly service. Would that be of any interest?
Rainy here, too. It's supposed to stop just in time for the Homecoming parade, which C will be happy about since the kiddos are walking in it with me (I'm a cheer coach).
Really random: why do I have a ton or sex dreams, but no actual desire for it when I'm awake?!
corinne I have NO idea. One guy (at the job I just left) referred to it as VACATION. Wtf?!
I, um, WTF?
I haven't worked since marrying DH but last baby while he was AD Navy he got paternity leave for three weeks. When he got back one of his civilians asked how his "vacation" was. Pretty sure that guy got an earful. Lol I FF and we did sleep shifts, definitely NOT a vacation.
I had the weirdest thing happen to me yesterday. My boob's were killing me, like weird twinges if mastitis pain all day but today it's gone. I have a Dr appointment tomorrow and I'm going to ask for pointers on not getting mastitis this time around.
I mean, is there a way? I didn't even use my boob's last time and I got it...

I'm going to page @amyg, since I have a feeling she'll have some great info - I know it's early for us, Amy, but nobody wants mastitis, ever!

I'm going back and forth on Halloween costumes. On the one hand, I don't really want to shell out for something I may never wear again. But on the other hand, it's fun.

I should have thought about taking her. Lol
But for reals, I had it during and after pregnancy with DS. The second time was the worst experience of my life; 103.7 fever, my boob's were rock hard, and I was in so much pain it was worse than my drug free delivery. I remember going to the ER because my fever was high and they brushed it off as "normal" for someone not nursing. Dicks.
Ok- so Google is less than clear. Can we (as in pregnant peeps) eat sushi?
Raw meat isn't recommended. You can eat cooked rolls (e.g., tempura, deep fried) and vegetarian rolls. Some people will eat sushi from a restaurant they trust to have high quality fresh fish, but wouldn't get a raw fish roll from like 7-11. Tuna in general is likely to be high in mercury, so you might want to stick to salmon and eel and things like that if you are okay with raw foods from a source you trust.
Yes! I have been avoiding it completely, but my pregnant friend just invited me to a sushi lunch tomorrow so I decided to investigate. Even though spicy tuna is my favorite, I'm super excited I can have something!!
