DH started a new job as a mailman, and is still in weird trainings so his schedule is bizarre for a week or two. Which works out great because my old boss asked me to come train their newest guy today, and my husband is off. So I'm going in at 9 until whenever I feel like coming home.

Good morning.
I have to dig my uniforms out of my closet and hope I've got something that the rank all matches so I can go into base to an appt/stupid errands. Should be fun with my toddler.
Morning! We're back from our dog walk and park time, and heading to story time at the library in a bit. Then probably gonna try to complete my vote by mail ballot at naptime. We're voting on about 30 things between people and questions so it's gonna be a process.

I just got my bloodwork report back!!!!!
Your results are negative. No chromosomal abnormalities detected in chromosomes 13, 18, 21, X or Y. This means there is a very low risk that your baby has a chromosome alteration, such as Turner syndrome, Down syndrome, trisomy 13 or trisomy 18.
I haven't clicked on the sex yet. I don't know how I'm going to keep my mouth shut until Saturday LOL

That has to be a huge relief, even if you weren't particularly concerned!
So, nerd moment. I play a bunch of text games, and just send in my NDA to work on one in creation right now that I've been looking forward to for a while. It'll be fun to get back into the creative stuff - 'building' rooms, characters, items, et cetera.
Yes, text game means it's all words. No pictures. But it's FUN. It's like being in a book that just keeps going on.

I really think that's the only reason I am content right now not knowing the sex.
Work gave me a sympathy card today and it brought me to tears. Today would have been L's 27th birthday so it's rough
I'm so sorry my friend! Come meet me for lunch and I'll give you a big hug !
One of these days, I'm going to surprise you when I know you're working and we're going to go for food. One day, I won't be stuck packing/unpacking, in training, or doing inspections... I hope
Appointment was amazing! I had the nicest ultrasound tech who talked through everything. The doctor said there were no concerns and that he'd still like to see some things at the 20 week appointment (which makes me nervous but I know it's just early for some things).
Oh, and I'm TEAM BLUE!!!!!!! Little dude was letting it all hang out.
Yay, @osw!!! Can't wait for you to find out the sex too.
Continued hugs, hpnegirl, for your friend and for dealing with your MIL.
We're setting ground rules that she has to agree to or she doesn't see her grandkids. She's going to fight tooth and nail but they are non-negotiable
She keeps trying to guilt my husband over this and just shows how selfish she is. She even had FIL call and try to get her way on this. Nope, no more. I'm done. She plays by my rules from now on

I've never heard of a text game tygandre ! Explain more...
Well, a more accurate name is a text-based roleplaying game, originally called a MUD (multi-user dungeon). The one I currently play is www.lusternia.com
In essence, it's a fantasy-based world in which you're required to play the role of your character publicly, and you can do any number of things - be a fighter, a merchant, a politician, a hunter. Sky's the limit. It's sort of a pay-for-perks environment, though if you're determined enough you can buy the currency for the perks in-game over time for no real money.
Presently, my main character is Tamsin, a Moondancer in the Serenwilde forest commune. What that means is she can summon fae creatures and perform abilities based around the Moon, which is a sort of semi-divine aspect. The Serenwilde forest is the last 'untainted' forest in the Basin of Life (the main area of this game) and is opposed to the Glomdoring forest, which was twisted into a tainted version they call 'wyrden' forest.
Mostly, Tamsin goes out into aetherspace, hunting dragons and other creatures, with a large crew of other players, for great experience gain. She also harvests herbs for use in curing in her spare time.
Heehee. It's fun to me. And I can play it lying in bed with the laptop.

Is it kind of like D&D then? It sounds creative and fun!

My husband is in multiple D&D or D&D style RPGs. He would love this.
