Going on week 2 of fighting naps. Since C fell asleep after 2hrs yesterday I am just going to let him play in his room and hope for the best. Lights are off, curtains drawn and white noise is on. As long as he keeps playing quietly I will just call it restful time if he ends up foregoing his nap.
., Aww I hope you feel better as the day goes on. So hard when you can't take the time to take care of yourself.
@justinslovo, Yay! Only 3 more days Boo on the colds though Hope you guys all feel better soon. We have some of the dripping around here, but nothing like you are dealing with.
mikaela20 I swear that pregnancy does this to us so that we already think of sleep as a rare commodity by the time the tinies are born! Hope you can get some rest
renegadewhit Ooh, couch! Yay for comfortable relaxation time
erinshelley21 Date nights are soo vital to relationships Have fun. Hopefully things calm down on the stress side of emotional stuff.
@priss08 This too shall pass?
glb30 Oooh, minus the headache, I want your day! I could soo use a pampered day
obi Yuck, stupid electronics. So amazing.. and so annoying at the same time. As to your dad.. I'm glad that he has given you reason to let go of the guilt. As long as he is like he is, you need to protect yourself and your family ~huge hugs as you go through this transition~
corinne I hope this phase passes quickly. I found my own just changed up things occasionally and I got used to it ><
moutonrouge Ack, pregnancy dreams are WAY too vivid. I hate how they affect this next day soo badly >< I actually had one last week that I missed my alarm and missed work.. I was so disconcerted when I woke up to my alarm and went to work ><
WOOHOOO!! I finally got to respond to you guys! I'm working with the older girls on literature today and I've been working on this post while they're doing intermittent writing in English class.
I'm so excited! I got dh to feel his son for the first time last night. I think he has to be in just the right position for this
I woke up grumpy and emotional .. been trying to relax since then. A cup of mostly caffeinefree mocha with some peppermint hot chocolate mix from Trader Joes helped unwind some of the tension I woke up with. I swear, everything is wait and see until March / April next year and there are days that make it feel like that will never get here.. and that I cannot even begin to accomplish everything that needs to be done before then >< I plan on working these early morning at least until I have been back in the work force for one year.. that happens in about five weeks. Past that is all just icing on the cake imo. I don't regret taking so many years to prioritize the family, but sometimes, I feel like I left myself with so many less options. I hate that feeling
I've just been really moody today. It happend a lot earlier this pregnancy but has been mostly gone. DS and I took a walk and it helped some. Dern mood swings.

I just googled the ultrasound place in the big city about an hour away from us, which we will be 45 minutes closer to for date night since my mom is watching DS. Only $87 for a quick 2D gender reveal, which is cheaper than I was expecting. DH is lucky they don't have any openings tonight.

Appt went really great! Took a little while to find the heartbeat because baby was moving sooo much you could hear the swhooshes it was cute. Celebrating weight being on point with some chik fil a haha
Appointment later this afternoon! Can't wait to hear the little one's heartbeat again. Despite being only 16 weeks LO is moving like crazy- trying to keep up with big brother already?
Appointment was amazing! I had the nicest ultrasound tech who talked through everything. The doctor said there were no concerns and that he'd still like to see some things at the 20 week appointment (which makes me nervous but I know it's just early for some things).
Oh, and I'm TEAM BLUE!!!!!!! Little dude was letting it all hang out.
Congrats on being team blue mosdub!!! I was so nervous when I found out my first was a boy but it is just the most amazing thing to have a son. I'm so excited for you!

I told SIL my almost plans of paying to have an u/s done somewhere and she told me I could come to her floor(she's an ob nurse) this week and she would do one BUT she wouldn't tell me the sex. She would plan a party and it would be a surprise. I don't think I can handle it lol.
