So my understanding is not to use fluoride based toothpaste until they can spit it out. This is one of the conflicting infos we get and I know not every country has the same recommandations. Ugh.
I think that's why they are saying now to just use that teeny tiny bit (as opposed to pea sized) to avoid the swallowing of the fluoride. In the grand scheme of things, I'm not sure it matters all that much as long as you're brushing them regularly.
Technically it's just the mechanical action of you brushing that 'cleans' or removes biofilm/plaque from your teeth. The toothpaste is sometimes antibacterial, a medium for fluoride, breath freshening and a whitening agent.

Phone interview at 2:30pm today, wish me luck! It was super quick turn around, but I wanted to do it earlier rather than later so I don't get too anxious. Now I have just enough time to do some research beforehand.

Sorry budders! I also had a hairline fracture a few years ago and had to wear a boot. The principal at the preschool I worked at said, "hey gimpy" to me once, I'll never forget. I hope it heals fast.
Good luck on the interview beersandweirs! Let us know how it goes!

Interview went okay, I think. Either my phone or her phone was cutting out occasionally, so I got most of the question and answered, but hopefully I didn't miss anything. She asked a lot more like scenario type questions than I expected from a phone interview. We shall see.

Any idea what kind of turnaround to expect? Did the position sound like something you're interested in?
At first she said I could hear back as early as the end of the week, then she said a week to a week and a half, so I'm not sure...
Yes, it is something I am interested in, and would be a good stepping stone in my career.

We're going to the brewery for dinner tonight. I'm just hoping A doesn't throw a fit, he's been in a funk all day only wanting to be held and nursing constantly. Thank god for Mickey Mouse so I can actually get ready.
+1 for being in a place where the recommendation is fluoride free until they can spit it out but fluoride varnish every six months. Our water does have some fluoride.
budders that sucks but glad you can bear weight now.
