Good morning!

I'm at the hospital getting my non stress test. Brings back memories being in this part of the hospital. Trying not to be nervous. I'm listening to baby's heartbeat.

My happiness with dh getting moved to 1st shift was short lived. He got a 2nd job. Supposedly he'll be working thurs-sun. But this week he's there all week. It sucks. Esp for him. But I know he's doing it cause he worries about having enough money for 2 kids. Sigh.

Only 4 more hours until home! I can't wait. I'm so tired though. We got to the hotel around 10 last night. Lo performed his one man show of babbling, yelling, kicking and laughing until nearly midnight. And I definitely have lo's cold now.
I can't complain too much, though. He's been an awesome traveler. I told dh that this makes me want to take more trips with him in the future. We're considering doing Sesame Place with him next spring/summer.

littlelion sending good thoughts for your NST. Those were such a pain in the ass with lo. He moved around so much the nurses were constantly moving the strap around trying to find him again. Hopefully YH'S 2nd jib settles down. Hugs! It's so stressful worrying about money.

Hope all the sick toddlers and mamas are feeling better today!

littlelion ah, the NST. Lord, I felt like I lived at the hospital with my last LO because of those damn NSTs. I hope everything goes well today. Hopefully YH's schedule will settle out, too. I know how much it sucks to be pregnant with a toddler and flying solo. Hang in there!

ashlantic your description of your LO last night made me LOL. I'm glad it's been a good trip overall but sorry you are sick! Hang in there- you are almost home!

I'm feeling somewhat better today but I've got two kiddos down now with stomach flu. And my oldest is struggling with her depression this week so it's been a fun challenge. Good news is, I'm halfway through my semester. Just one more after this and I'm DONE!

Hi there! I don't know if it's okay if I jump in here? I'm new to TCF and DD will be 2 in December. The regular D14 doesn't get much traffic anymore 😥 Looking for a place to connect with momma's with similar aged LO's. I promise I'm not an asshole. Somehow the universe smiled on us and lo did not fall asleep in the car so we were able to lay him down for nap and get shit done. And he pooped BEFORE nap today. Double win.

I had one of those days a couple weeks ago. Getting ready to leave the office I paused and thought do I have to. He had been on a rampage that week. It happens. Now it's just the usual working mommy guilt.

Thanks! And I hear ya. It's just tantrum after tantrum it seems. Ugh. And it doesn't help that DH has been working late since starting his new job. I get it that he wants to make a good impression and everything but the understanding was that he would be home more with us. Then I feel bad when I get frustrated because DD is a sweet girl. Just really difficult. Sigh.

@rizzo I would kill to send my LO to DC, even just a few days a week. Since we pay my tuition out of pocket, that's not in the cards until I graduate. Can't wait tho. My other kids loved school and it was a good break for me, even when I was at work.
