I just started shopping this week. Aside from stocking stuffers, J's big present is his next stage car seats. We'll get him some clothes and books too. I also want to get him some kid board games like Candy Land.
For the baby, well, she doesn't need much since we have all of the big stuff from kid #1. Right now my list for her includes a new splash pool (our neighbor's stupid outdoor cats shredded our last one) and some new sippy cups. This is a hard age to buy presents for.
DD1 is getting into Barbie dolls so I'm sure we will get her some. Peppa Pig is a big hit here so I am going to get her the school playset and pack of friends. As for her stocking, it will probably be filled with a bunch of blond bags since thanks to You Tube kids she loves them and should get a kick out of them. I may get her a balance bike for her larger gift. I may also get her someniurside toys like a tball set and the 1-2-3 FP roller skates
LO won't get a huge amount of things since we have all of the bugbstff from DD1. So she will be getting the few items I never purchased for DD1. List so far includes Zany zoo Activity cube, Laugh and Learn Puppy , FO Little Pwople Farm playset and we also need the Vtexh Wigglenand Crawl ball as ours broke. I picked up the Little Tykes Garden Center playset used for $30:).
Not much on my personal list. H and I kind of stopped exchanging gifts when the kids came and also the house. We needed a new washer since ours is starting to give us issues so we may do that. I would love a necklace with both kids names ( I have a few ideas for it). And I also need new clothes thanks to my big closet cleaning this weekends.
We are likely not buying a gift for either babe this year. Family will give enough stuff. I think a trip to Brazil and then another one to Mexico is enough. And they will get toys for the long trips to keep them occupied!
DD will probably be getting a Rapunzel dress off Etsy. Since I'm going to Disneyland and bringing the family with me and all. I'm going to count that as everyone's Christmas present. Even DH's, who is only going to humor me.
DH will get.. something small. We don't really do gifts for each other.
DS will get jammies or something. He doesn't need anything.
We will all be getting travel toiletries in our stockings from Santa (AKA my mom aka the hygiene fairy). The kids will likely get random crap from the dollar store in there too.
MH and I don't really exchange gifts either, we just get what we need/want when we can.
Baby I's wishlist includes a car seat, a few new diapers, the Montessori toys that are to be introduced around 7-10mo, & donations to his savings acct.
Right now I have a diono & graco 4ever on the list - any other suggestions? (Besides clek $$$)

DS1 is getting a train set from Santa, a nice pooh book from DH, and a kid-safe camera from me. And stocking stuffers.
DS2 is getting a carseat from Santa, a little pull toy from me, and something from DH, plus stocking stuffers (which will probably be reused from DS1's old toys.
I'm getting DS a sake set with sake and some other things I haven't figured out yet.
link? The one I'm seeing only goes up to 65lbs and is more expensive than the others.
Not sure if I'm linking correctly: www.amazon.com/Chicco-NextFit-Convertible-Seat-Matrix/dp/B019FNCJW4 We got ours at Buy Buy Baby with a 20% off coupon. 65 pounds is a really high weight limit for a convertible seat. Most kids will be in a booster by the time they reach that weight. I *think* it RF until 40 inches which is higher than most seats (why we got it).
I see. The other ones convert to boosters too with a 120lb weight limit. So I was seeing it correctly!
snoris you will get the longest use out of the 4ever. The Diono has a really high weight requirement for booster mode. They have to weigh 50lbs, and at that point the seat is usually outgrown by height. The 4ever is ridiculously compact too considering how big it is, and it could easily rf ds1 until he's like 8. lol

ahh so good to know. I really want to only buy one more seat. Is there cons to this?

The seat might get pretty gross but they usually aren't hard to clean.

It is going to be so hard to swallow buying the bigger car seats. I just don't know if I want to have to buy them each only one more that will convert into a booster or two more.

Fwiw I have a Graco 4ever too.
One downside I read on the car seat for littles fb page is that the expiration date is roughly ten years. It is possible that (depending on the expiration date that comes on your seat, if it's a new run or whatever) the seat MAY expire before your child passes the "tests" to be able to sit without a booster.
Eta: and that's really hard to predict because it depends on height and weight of your child, their maturity to sit properly, etc.
We have 2 graco 4 ever seats that we have been using for 2 years now and really like them. I actually just took mine apart to wash it for the first time - very easy. We will probably give these to DD2 and buy DD1 new seats because it should be cheaper buying the seats that are 3 in 1 forward facing only.

DD is getting Flipsies, Elena doll set, PJ Mask dress up costumes, a couple of outfits, books and a new high back booster seat. Plus some stocking stuffers.
DS is getting a new car seat, maybe a few toys and some books.
I asked for a necklace that is personalized with something for the kids.
DH is getting a new rifle, which I have already bought and secretly am hiding. I can't believe I have pulled off a surprise gift!
snoris, I think you can get away with only one more seat, depending on the expiration dates. DD could continue to use her 4 in 1 still at almost age 5 but we are going to use it for DS in the other car.

If we're finally in a house I will be buying lots of outdoor toys for DS1 like a bike, jump rope, tree swing, etc. If not, we'll probably not get him much for Christmas and know that we'll be buying all this for him as soon as we move.
DS2...maybe that kick piano I've been eyeing. Not sure, yet.
Honestly, when they're young, we don't buy that much because they get lots of presents from our extended family. Next year, though, I'm sure DS1 will be able to make requests and we'll do that.

I thought of something I want - a new set of dishes. I love the ones we have, but we've broken a few over the years and the pattern has been discontinued. We're so low on bowls that a couple of times a week one of us ends up eating cereal or a salad out of tupperware.

I want keep it simple this but with all of our relatives, it's usually over the top.
I want some new work clothes/ fashion jewelry and a cute camera strap for my DSLR.
DH wants some sort of amazing hat storage system that probably doesn't exist.
The kids may get a wagon from my parents. The baby is getting a convertible car seat and I've bought him a green toys shape sorter and the fisher price vintage record player. I'll probably get him some sensory balls, a ball popper and something with wheels, maybe a walker ride on combo. DS will get whatever toy he asks Santa for.
