gratefulgirl baby may just need to get used to magic suit since it's different? Hope that it works later for you!
@ anyone who needs it...at the end of the day, it's true that baby just needs to be fed. Probably half of our generation (in the U.S.) was formula fed! I certainly was and grew up always assuming I would formula feed my kids. DD was BF and we are still working on it with DS, but we will see...
Has anyone else still not been able to have sex? We've tried a few times but ended up stopping because it was painful. I had a c-section so I'm surprised but it just feels very tight. And now since it's gone badly each time we've tried, I get anxious and tense up which makes it even worse.
H is really sweet about it but physical intimacy is his love language and I can tell he is feeling neglected. I feel bad about it.
I purposely got really drunk for the first time (2 months pp), which helped. It hurt but I was less anxious and a bit more relaxed so it wasn't completely awful. We did it again a few days ago when I was sober and it hurt so much. I had a 3rd degree tear and it still bothers me sometimes
katelm -((hugs)). Between 13 & 17 weeks was the hardest for sleep for my older two (and therefore me). All the developmental changes around sleep at that age are hard.
Tried our Magic Sleepsuit for nap on a whim. No dice. She less than 30 minute napped me. At least I get a whopping 40 in the Zippy.
Also I finally got one of the colds the kids have. Boo.
I keep hearing about how 3 months is supposed to be amazing & then there is the dreaded 4 month sleep regression. Nooooooo, if this is considered amazing then I'm screwed.
Ever since she got herself partially trapped in a SwaddleMe, we moved on to Miracle Blanket. That worked ok for a while but she really seems to hate being swaddled. She likes to self soothby sucking on her hands. So I am trying this Merlin sleep suit tonight since she finally hit the minimum weight of 12 lbs.fingers crossed but not expecting any miracles
Omg guys my baby is sleeping in his crib for the past 2 hours. I decided I needed to start putting him to bed independent of one I go to bed. I've been for the past week trying to pay attention to a pattern. And I guess it worked. This is the longest he's ever slept in his crib and first ever at nighttime after a feeding. Since he's sick I think when he wakes up I will put him in the RNP. This is huge if he starts doing this since I go back to work Saturday and it will be nice to have alone time before I go to bed.

katelm My babies also self-soothe by sucking on their hands, but they have pretty major startle reflexes still so I can't stop swaddling. I was thinking about trying one arm in one arm out, have you tried that?
Putting an offer in on a house on Tuesday. It'll be less than the listing price (which I think is overvaluing the house), but here's hoping! I am also including a letter about our family with info like how the hospital where R will go for cardiology follow up is closeby and how he had open heart surgery at one month old. It'll depend on if there are many other competitive offers, but maybe our story will resonate with the owners?

Good luck and hope the letter. I've heard that those letters usually do the trick.

katelm - 4 mo. regression can start at 13 weeks, so this could be as bad as it gets. Sadly that means it could be a while for you.
ETA: DD2 was the worst sleeper until we moved her to a sleep sack and ditched the paci. Night 2 of no paci she popped her thumb in her mouth, went to sleep, and had been mostly a dream sleeper since. She still had night feeds aftet that for a few months but next to never has woken at night for other reasons.

For what it's worth, when we were selling I swore I'd be unmoved by those type of letters. So of course we got our first one (when I was newly postpartum), and just them mentioning that they had a 3-month old was (and still is) enough to get me all weepy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

shanny I sometimes thing of me and H as emotionally detached from others so a letter like that wouldn't do much for us. That being said, we accepted an offer the last time we sold our house and then got another offer with a letter. We would have gone with the letter people based on what they said in it.
Why does my baby on my last full week home decide to turn into such a good baby? When he wasn't sleeping well a couple weeks ago I was so ready to return to work. Now I don't want to. Last night he slept in his crib from 8:30-2 am. I didn't do a wake up before bed so he got up earlier than normal, so he had two wake ups. Might try to do a feed before I go to bed tonight and see if we have the same great crib results. If I knew how great he'd be by giving up dairy, I would have done it sooner!
